As I said, O-12 is Pano if it had lots of nice things.
And smoke in a cheap and regular warband... the poor nisse should be crying in a corner XDD
But still has some legging to do when you have the Razor who is already there. Yes, it's not a KHD, but you have other options like a Minelayer. Between Razors, Sirius, Varagians, and Gangbusters, control of the midfield should be cake.
You can always separate the 2 chain colts to be the equivalent of a chain rifle. Or double up with them. Nice flexibility.
I am missing the Psi unit...?
whoa. good catch! I can't remember where we heard about that unit. Was it just rumor?
It's almost like an army for a group that is composed of each of the different factions in the Human Sphere is full of units that are based off of other profiles in those foundation factions and then adjusted for the needs of the coalition...
For me the Epsilon wants to grab the HMG and never let go!
Can do both, just limited by model selection right now. Might have to steal an HMG off of another model.
don't discount TO snipers my friend, theres something charming about being able to catch non-active link members without cover as they advance up the board
Major drawback of the faction is the expensive and limited choice of the captain-obvious Lts
Just to be sure
Do you disagree with it being unpopular, obvious, both or you just disagree in general terms?
Yeah, but you have a decent CoC option. Plus the LTs are pretty durable outside the Kappa.
Omega LT isn't really a choice either so your left with 4LT choices in the faction one of which is a TAG and the other is 1swc Kappa
The CoC option looks like something you have to bring in all of your lists which is i rather high points investment in just for the LT and CoC.
Cant really see teh strategos ALPHA without the CoC ALPHA. base is pretty huge, hard to hide and easy to kill.
I disagree that there is an „obvious“ powercreep. There may be slight efficiency improvements on some newer releases and some backdating of some of the older sectorials could mitigate that, but there are plenty of examples of old factions being highly competitive.
Every little discount adds up. A more optimiced profile for an army won't break a game, but a full faction of optimiced profiles with less SWC costs will be noticeable. It's not an autowin, but if that tip the balance from 50% to 65-70% it's enough.
Plus the powercreep is not only apparent in the new profiles, also in the fireteams; the ability to include big guns in cheap fireteams is powercreep.
And that's a problem because powercreep reduce the ammount of viable strategies and make some matches very hard to win. The "it's not your list, it's you" is less and less true.
This is hardly a limitation when theres a decent CoC unit to take to pack up any aggressive LT.
The Skiavoros is rolling in his grave at the sight of this new 26 point Strategos L2 =(
Fair, but it is at least one drawback.
Especially when that CoC is both hard to hide and far from cheap.
