    Heloo all nomads players!

Im looking for tips and help about Infowar in N4. Which hakers take? How many? What to use them? Im plaing mosty corrigdor, but i also want to focus on all nomads (vanilla and other ships)

PS: I know that Its still early in N4 to judge, but i like a lot of Theorycrafting

Honestly I always thought hacking kind of sucked so I'm going in to N4 with very little experience in investing in more than a single AHD. At first look I still prefer firepower, but positioning my Moran so that enemies will get a Spotlight if they want to take the best cover is going to be my first addition.

In vainilla, our best "active turn" hacker is mary and the KHDs. If you are afraid of KHD, interventors are the toughest, but jazz will outplay them in vainilla. But jazz is more versatile overall, and cheaper, and the to-go option in corregidor

Morans are our main repeater network, but expect for a little nerf soon. Zeroes in vainilla can help both in this part or as advanzed hackers. In corregidor, the bandits take the role of the zeros with some changes, and tomcats can help the repeater network (But I think is better to save them to be specialists).

EVO hackers are not to take into account for cyberwar (I hate calling it infowar, because infowar means something more, not only hacking, but that is another thing), they work now only as support for our remotes and AD troopers, but are something to take into account if you want to bring some of them.

appart from this, I think we have to test the new hacking. Maybe we will need more hackers, maybe jazz will be enough, it even can be different deppending on the meta

I think Mary has got some serious Upgrade protocols. B3 Oblivions? It's a literal doom to HIs who've lost stealth recently. Well, they can try Resetting, but the Isolate state imposes -9 MODs.

Also, three hacker, if I'm right, got Upgraded Trinity. Mary's got AP, Interventor(KHD)'s got (-3), and Jazz has got (+1 Dam). IMO, a damage buff is nice, but it doesn't quite appealing since a lot of competitive hackers have a BTS of 6 or higher. It rather seems legit to impose -3 mods in f2f roll, or halve the BTS of the enemy hacker, since I've already said, a lot of hackers got high BTS.

So, in vanilla, you can put 1-2 Morans which are the Bearers of Repeaters with Camo, to blatantly spread out our infonets. You might choose not to use Minelayer skills to deploy the Koalas, to confuse the opponent. Also, Hecklers with FastPanda might also be a good choice. They've lost their rank since Jammers got nerfed, but a Repeater which can be deployed 8-inch-deep into enemies could be a nice surprise.

just a point here, in active, it will not matter for mary if the HI has stealth, and in reactive it will be B1 so..

Also remember that zero postition repeater infiltrates ahead of what heckler can with a fastpanda. Usually, hecklers will need one more order than zeros to put a repeater in the same place

Ohwow! You're right. I was so hyped I think LOL
And yes, Zero would be more efficient order-wise. I've never tried, but now I should. Thanks!

Corregidor also has wildcard troops with tinbot -3 and -6. I was thinking about running a Wildcat Haris with Jazz, Mobile Brigada Hacker, and a Wildcat KHD. I think with the prevalence of hacking AROs and tac window, we'll be seeing more hackable targets, but also many more enemy hackers. Jazz brings a HD+ with trinity, the Brigada brings a tinbot -6, and the Wildact is a WIP 13 BTS 6 KHD. It's a heavy investment at 85 points, but you get a 2 oblivions or 2 trinity in ARO, white noise, pitchers, and a 2W hacker.

This is where I’m at for vanilla.
The hardest part is taking enough attack pieces while presenting a painful net to push into.
my current list uses a kriza, Vostok and tr bot as traditional attack pieces. Double moran and double heckler gives me nice forward repeater networks as well as jammers.

Hackers are only jazz and Mary but again, the quality they put out is there.

finally, the uberfell to go do what they do.

I like to do it with a Core to get the SS2 on the hackers. Also the Wildcat HRL is awesome and only held back by needing to be in a Wildcat core, so if I'm already fulfilling that I just want it every time. And then there's getting to add a Lt. that is actually being helpful (adding to link bonus).
Being able to do it in a Haris is nice but if I have a Core and Haris and the Haris isn't for mobility then I feel like I run out of attack stamina too early. Having the option is great thou, I'm sure at some point it'll fit in to my list like that.

What I did last game is use a Wildcat Haris Spitfire with a Dak and Lupe in addition to my hacking core. In that formation the MSV1 is only being paid for on the gunner, and I get NCO as a huge bonus. Plus specialists and smoke and a doc for the Spitfire, big thumbs up from me. You can easily swap the Evader and Wildcat depending on mission and preferences, but personally I rate having NCO pretty even with the second wound. NWI is awesome for shrugging off a lucky return hit and then healing, but often they will go down when targeted anyways, while NCO almost always gets used. Then there's MSV1 vs. AP, both firepower enhancers, really depends on if ARM or Mimetism is what's reducing your firepower more (as well as low vis presence). I like both. Honestly I think Hackable is what leans me to Wildcat right now.
