[ OOC: Yeah, it's normally bad form to take the safety off before being absolutely ready to use a firearm (Rule 2: Never point a firearm at something you are not ready to destroy), but I never bothered to use the safety on my Romanian PSL, which is an overgrown AK47. It was either empty with the magazine out, or loaded and ready to fire, with my finger only going on the trigger when I was ready to shoot (Rule 3). For completeness, Rule 1 is that all firearms are always loaded, and Rule 4 is to be aware of what is beyond your target. Sarcasticly, there is a Rule 5, which says that any bullet goes downrange with a lawyer attached to it, but that's really just a combination of Rules 2 and 4. [Hello sports fans. Fuzz are on the way - but be advised that the bikers have reinforcements on standby waiting for a call. I'm in their comms and will do my best to track what I can. I think we are better to stay put - treating Eddie calmly and safely is a priority, as is getting Tai Ling somewhere safe. Running will just mark us as suspicious. As much as I hate to say it the Imperial Service will probably want whatever data we can provide]
One should be careful with an ex-Uberfall Kommando in a small room with them especially with backup. The two bikers, clearly marked as Red Vipers by their riding duds, clearly didn't care after Eddie came bursting through the glass wall trying to disarm the one with the pistol aimed at Tai Ling's head. Eddie misjudged his swing and caught the arm of the biker instead. The biker's crash suit goes rigid against the impact and stops the blade from doing any damage. Amyah brings up the rear with her light shotgun at the ready and shoots at the other biker, armed with an SMG, but his crash suit absorbs the flechettes. She doesn't waste a second though as she sweeps the shotgun to the biker Eddie engaged and sends a round his way. The flechettes are ineffective but the blast knocks him on his ass. The bikers then retaliate themselves. An unseen hacker downs Eddie's comlog. The pistol wielder sprays down Eddie and the SMG does the same to Amyah. The two return with their own attacks doing minimal damage. Outside, Impi can see there's an enemy hacker effecting his team. He launches a attack and totally kills the enemy hackers ability to effect the fight. Konrad, after disabling the biker's bikes, heads over the SUV grabs his duffel bag with his boarding shotgun and rushes inside to help Eddie and Amyah. They could use it as the bikers go after them hard with more bullets flying but they don't find their marks. Finally Eddie sticks his attack with his blade causing him to drop his weapon. Konrad shows up behind Amyah as she hits her attacker again and then Konrad fires on him as well. The shotgun blast is strong throwing the biker off his feet and slamming into the ground. There's a scream of pain then nothing as he must of past out. All the while Impi has been downing the biker's comlogs so they couldn't call for backup. One biker is unconscious while the other is surrendering. The bikers are defeated but that hacker is still unaccounted for. Outside That's until Impi spots someone rushing out of the side door of the karaoke place. A female biker who rushes off to the parked bikes. She tries to start it up but it's not turning over thanks to Konrad. The sound of sirens catches her ears and she bolts off on foot. Impi guesses the cops are about five minutes away. Inside Tai Ling starts to come to. The man was knocked out for the entire fight. It takes him a second to realize what's happening. "Who the hell are you?" He asks Eddie, Amyah, and Konrad.
"We are your guardian angels from outer space just in time for a last minute rescue." Konrad explains to the man on the ground while aiming at the still consicous biker with his boarding shotgun.
