Continuation of the PbP post over from the other forums. ++++++++++++++++++++ Chao nods his head and Eddie's comlink gets a ping. It's an address to the Piranha Market and an encrypted file. "Select other goods." Chao says and Eddie does so, "Now drop in the file." Eddie does that as well and he's taken to another site. It's bare bones and simple and that's all it needs to be. Bets and their odds are laid out for all to see. Eddie enters his bets. "I assume you didn't just swing by to drop some bets down. Could of done that yourself," Chao says as looks at the group, "A lot of friends to bring along for just some betting." @Razgriz Saito decided that doing some digging into the local Bosozuku gang. They like to call themselves the Red Vipers and they're pretty proactive. Protection rackets, illegal drug manufacturing and disruption, and illegal street racing. Since the night before you haven't seen them come in contact with the Triad or the Druze. However, as you sit on their club house you spot a pack of them (5 in total) leaving. You follow them to a nearby town. The pack parks their bikes at some local cafe and they mule around. Down the way you spot a familiar vehicle. The black SUV the Sunz team has rented. It's parked out front of a place called the Piranha Market. You can see the bikers have an interest in the SUV as well as you spot a few of them glancing at it from time.

She is too good a rider to have not made it at least once." Eddie asks quietly enough that the other folks in the shop probably didn't hear him, while watching Mister Chao's face at the suggestion of fixed races. [Short information i am playing Konrad with Chi Lin as cover identity, former space pirat and pilot / mechanic] Konrad stays back at the door keeping his profile as the driver assistant to his boss Lawrence Calverstone, trying to keep anyone in his eyes and an ear to the door with the 2 goons.
[Quick intro, my character Nathan is the party's hacker hailing from Corregidor.] Nathan keeps one eye on the door and another appreciating the comms and video equipment through the room.
[The name's Saito Hagiwara. Well, that's what the team knows me as. Ex Yu Jing intelligence. The team's spook. So spooky, they didn't even know they had a spook on the team in the beggining.] For the time being, Saito sits in his car and watches the bikers. He tries to make it look like he's waiting for someone but not too hard. He checks his gear to make sure it's both needed and concealable. Hopefully he thinks to himself, they can shed some light on this agreement between mafias.
@Section9 You can see Chao's eyebrows raise just a bit at your remark, "I would do nothing because I can't do anything... legally." He whispers back, "You are correct about Morgen and some other racers. Some of the best to grace this track but can never seem to pull it off in the end. Some might call that bad luck but bad luck doesn't have a pattern." After Chao says that he touches his comlink bracelet and the female goon enters. She speaks, "Mr.Chao would like to be alone now, thank you." The team is then escorted back to the front of the store. The female then whispers into Impi's ear, "Tell your boss to come back after hours. Mr.Chao would like to talk further." @Daemon of Razgriz As Saito sits and watches the bikers he notices they all mount up on their bikes when they spot the team in the store come from the back.

"Thank you for your time, Mister Chao. It's been a pleasure doing business with you." Eddie says loudly enough for the room to hear on his way out. [ Right then, guess we will be making a trip back here later. And we also now have what the legit bookies are giving for odds on the races to work with while we talk to Timmy DeLasse and Tai Ling about their betting pools. ]
Saito picks himself up, getting ready to tail them again. Noticing that the bikers are responding to the emergence of the rest of his team. He thinks to himself. "Ha, looks like i'm not the only one tailing today." He pauses for a sec, then. "Sigh, I really wish Eddie would contact me with the info i gave in the chip so i could warn the team about this." Saito gets ready to start his car but stops just short of keying the ignition. Waiting for the bikers to make the first move.
[Before moving on where is the team off to next: Timmy, Tai, or Bo Ryan? For ease and since Eddie has taken command over the group he'll be the one to decide.]
Timmy or Tai, whichever one is closer to our current position. Bo Ryan will probably be at the track.
[Timmy is the closest.] The team returns to the SUV and start to head out. They drive right past the row of bikers at the cafe. Their mirrored helmet visors track it and their engines fire up as it passes them. They all rumble out and follow behind the SUV not being subtle at all. Saito follows behind them. At the edge of the town Konrad has to come to a stop at a four way. The bikers then don't stop behind the SUV. Instead they start to surround it [two to the left, two to the right, one in the rear]. [Everyone give me Awareness with a D3 difficulty.]
Bikers wanna be stupid, huh? [Eddie's Awareness is only 10, his Observation is 12. Not that it matters, rolled a 13 and 18. Eddie must be planning what he's going to say to Timmy.]

Finally the general shittyness about my various situations (generic Job Difficulties, various Family's Money Management issues, Political Turmoils affexting directly My lifestyle, my Ex misbehaving very weirdly, very Bad Health for ailing Relatives and other assorted general nastyness !!) have subsided a little and, while not totally solved, there are some "Safety Countermeasures" put in place !!! I could try to re-organize a little more cohesively and coherently, hoping that all the super shit that happened in the start of 2018 was just a "One-Of-A-Kind" fluke. . . . . .!!!] Is Amyah's "Advanced Sensor Suite" somehow able to add Bonus to the Awareness Roll of anyone in the car...?? Just to know before Rolling and also for considering how to affect other's Rolls. . . . .
So, short roll Awarness is 11 with Observation 12 and 1 point exp and 1 point foc Rolls are 11 and 18, so ónly one success. Konrad seems to distracted from the bikes. Konrad lets down the drivers window looking direktly in the mirrored helmet visor of what ssems obviosly the leader, trying to sidetrack him to shift in reverse. [If this is going to be ugly, i will try to take out the one directly behind us with the car. I hoe this will give us some element of suprise.]
Even with the POTENTIAL Bonus afforded by the Advanced Sensor Suite, the Awareness of Amyah is very low, so I do not think that She should even bother rolling, unless a Low Result will be anyway important (She is JUST parading being an Odalisque Bodyguard, but Her specialties lies somewhere else). . . Anyway I believe that the placement on the Car should be obviously Konrad at the wheel (Right-side or Left-side, could swear somewhere was written many Yujing Cars followed the "Hong Kong Style" patterned after British wheel placement ??) and Eddie, as the "Boss" at the rear seat (Left? Right ??). . . This leave Nathan PROBABLY at the passenger seat beside the driver position, and Amyah sitting side the Boss at the rear. . . If the combat ensues I think that the big Army Bag with Amyah's A.P. Kalashnikov and the "Space Pirates" Drum Fed Boarding Shotgun, and many spare mags, is in the trunk; Amyah still has on Her person the Ariadnan Assault Pistol and the Combat Knife, but her Yujing Light Shotgun could be available in a smaller bag to anyone unarmed (judging from Minis and Concept Art should not be more cumbersome than a Modern Sawed-Off Ithaca Shotgun) that I could think is our "Resident Hacker". . . . . Let Me know. . . . .
Awareness is 10 with observation 1. Target 11. Rolls 8, 17. So one success and one fail. [I don't know if i get any bonuses or some such because i already know they're following the team or if i needed to take the test in the first place?] Saito pulls up the car at the lights a little behind the group. Wanting to give a little leeway in case something goes down. (Still pretending to be a civie.)
I always forewarned my extra Guns as to be available to any unarmed / less-armed comrade in the party, so feel free to have it at Your disposition... Should @Solodice allow it SHOULD be in a small Shoulder-Bag (with some more spare extra Basic Slugs); it's a Yujing Light Shotgun "Yungang-Xing Type 3.2" (the one depicted in the Basic Manual Gear list) ... If You like more an Handgun-styled weapon could instead let You borrow without problems My Assault Pistol; it's an Ariadnan "A.K. Novy Groza" that is an essentially higher tech version of the "venerable" Beretta 93-R Light Machinepistol, so You can easily hide it under a Jacket, with a couple of spare Mag-Clips, and I'll go instead with the Light Shotgun... If shit really hits the fan, in our van's trunk we should have a "Gun Army Bag" containing BOTH @Drunk Corsair's Boarding Shotgun (I believe a relatively low-tech drum-fed magazine-clip model) with both Standard and A.P. Slugs and My "Haqqislamite Special Forces A.P. Rifle" that is essentially an Ak74 Kalashnikov optimized for Sniper Marksmanship (along with 5 normal Clips and two Armor Piercing ones, shaped like tipical banana magazines)... ..... I noticed some problems in linking a proper Dice Roller in the New Forum Format; someone have advices / suggestions, before I try anyway to employ my old Orokos account for the meager Awareness / Observation / Initiative Rolls of my Character.....???
