At CB we are safe and sound, working hard on the launch of Infinity N4 -. But we also wanted to let you know that we haven’t forgotten about Defiance! We owe you an update related with the delivery of Wave 1 and today we are informing you about its current situation. At the end of this month (September), two ships with all of the contents of Wave 1 will leave from China. One of these ships is arriving at Corvus Belli and the other is going to the logistics center we have in the United States. What does this mean? It means that the United States, Canada, and Australian orders will be sent from that logistics center. The rest of the orders will be managed from our headquarters in Spain. What does this mean in terms of delivery? We expect to be able to process the orders, in both the United States and Spain, between the end of October and the beginning of November. Therefore, before the end of November, all those who are waiting for products in the first wave should already be enjoying Infinity Defiance. At any rate, when we have more information on this issue we will let you know as quickly as possible. At this point, you might be asking about Wave 2? As we previously stated, Wave 2 has been irretrievably pushed back in time due to the current global situation. Right now, the date we have to ship this second wave is February 2021, but unfortunately we cannot be more precise with the timeframe. With that being said, we will keep you informed as soon as we have more precise dates. What we can show you is that we have already advanced much of the work on the manufacture of the miniatures for Wave 2. Outcast is now ready, Revenant is practically finished, and we have made a lot of headway with the Reinforcement packs: We are very sorry for the delays that the delivery of Infinity Defiance is having, but rest assured that we are working hard so that it can be in your hands as soon as possible. So, I guess an additional month of delay, end of November 2020 for Wave 1, end of February for Wave 2. Not good, not terrible.
As expected. No panic for the moment. PS: in the 1st image, there are 90 thousand miniatures inside the boxes. PS2: Love the Lei Gong cast. Only 2 pieces
Realistically, beginning of November can easilly turn into end of November and then shipping will get mixed in the Christmas rush and delayed even more and even lost. Ugh, the wait is unbearable. Is there any clarification on the shipping method? Is it regular post or 3rd party company? Will they provide a tracking number? In my country there's additional tax on items above 200eur, how will two waves be declared for customs?
DHL, it's probably cheaper than the Spanish Postal Service. Friends who have backed Kickstarters for boardgames tell me that the usual expectation is make your pledge and then wait a year for your shinies if the company is on top of things. CB appears to be on top of things and, lo and behold, it will have been more or less a year (maybe) since the KS campaign. This may be one of the very few KS campaigns where the delivery delays are not due to a 'self-own'. Except maybe the decision to do business with China. I do hope none of the Defiance pieces may be made of Chinesium. Refresh an old man's memory. Only the Core level pledges are wave1; Collector level pledges are wave 2, right?
Wave 1 is Core, Collectors, terrain pack, and Big Meg. Wave 2 is Outcast, Revenant, Reinforcement Packs, and other add-ons. The only miniatures made in China are Big Meg and the terrain packs.
Depends on the stretch goal, some were part of the collectors/deluxe pledge, some were part of Platinum pledge.
I think he meant separate addon sleeves. They answered me about card sleeves in the comments back then Did they change it since then?
Remind me please, I think I got a reply somewhere that wave 1 will contain also the alt-parts and alt-bodies for those miniatures listed above?
