Other arguments depend on a level of ignorance of the setting and background which is frankly astonishing from any long standing member of the community.
And to pretend that NA2 necessitates that "THE FACTIONS HAVE TO BE SPLIT ENTIRELY IN LORE!" is just as ignorant. :) The "Non-Aligned Armies" title is, quite frankly, misleading. The units making up those NA2 factions alone should tell you that yes there is an "alignment"...unless you want to pretend that Ikari Company or Druze Society are BFFs with Ariadna? The argument is, and always has been, predicated upon the fact that you could go through the vanilla PanO roster and remove everything Knight/Church related into their own NA2 without being exceedingly detrimental to PanO as a whole. It would let PanO get more room for unit design(Montesas in VIRD alone should have told you how hard they're reaching), more room for unique Sectorials in PanO, potentially open up some space for giving the Knightly Orders(Hospitalers, Templars, etc) their own unique flavor, and open up the most ridiculously sought after thing in the form of 'rEnEgAdE kNiGhTs!1!!' for Nomads.
Right, because there's no reason the fluff might develop in dynamic, unexpected ways. Everything must be static! Static! 10,000 years later the Pope will still sit upon the PanO throne. I'll be over here swilling around in my ignorance.
The church is not « aligned » with pano, it’s one of the major lobby that govern pano AND the organization in charge of managing pano resurrection system. Anything, from acontecimento to the hexadron, is more likely to become separated from pano than the church
The Revenant expansion will be €45 as an add-on, but will also be included for free in the Platinum pledge if the campaign hits €850k Also, we just unlocked rules for all the Wildfire contents in Defiance (except Hippolyta I think).
I just read that. It make the platinium pledge even more interesting Now, please CB, sell me a second set of leg/torso so i can build every alternate and original mini
Comments on KS from CB said that they are working on it. A suggestion for an explanation in the comments by a backer was that probably the casting mold for the heroes contains legs and upper body. So separating them for casting is maybe the issue (if you do not want to be left with a lot of the upper bodies). Otherwise you can just melt the additional ones later, so not sure how valid that is?! Maybe it is also about usage of the molds to avoid ware-out? Anyway I am also hoping for the additional legs :)
Because it's not as trivial as it might appear? The core box and collectors box are probably reaching physical capacity now not to mention a weight limit that makes shipping more expensive. I wonder at the logistics of trying to add more stuff to the Core set at this stage?
You can add heaps of Reinforcement Packs and ship it all in a single wave (2nd). Shipment is not an issue for the 2nd leg pieces. And if they really designed the casting process so that you get a single two-piece mini and then a separate 3rd piece and don't have a way to cast one of the first two pieces separately... I mean, it doesn't really take a genius to predict people want complete miniatures.
That's not the same church. The Observance is not the same thing as the weird omni-Christian church that exists in PanO.
Jep. But mistakes can be made. Was just a wild guess anyway. I am fairly certain that they will somehow manage to get us a second set of legs. Be it as a stretch goal or as add on for ~10€
Do you think we'll reach the treshold by the end? To me it looks like I'll be spending 295€ instead ... if Revenant has interesting miniatures, that is.
To Assuming a relatively constant pledge rate of about 10k/day, we wouldn’t. So I think CB have chosen this limit to increase motivation towards the end of the campaign and maybe with the help of more people upgrading to platinum it can be done in the final sprint. Definitely will keep things interesting though
Most kickstarters have a big last day. I'd be surprised if we didn't see over 100k more before the end of this thing. Lots of people like waiting for the last minute to pledge.
But this is not really like most big KS's, is it? Only around 10% of backers sitting on 1$. But yea, usually you have around 1/3 of funding first day, 1/3 during rest of campaign and 1/3 around last 48h hours if I am not mistaken. It's quite likely this will earn those 100k over the days up ahead, I would be really surprised if it didn't.
I guess they'll manage to reach 1 million € by the end of the campaign, and I hope they unlock something for everybody, not just the platinum-level pledge.
