There are single hex doors that the 40mm figures won't be able to fit through so a 40mm hero wouldn't be viable.
Unless you add "Moving through a single space door takes 2 hexs of movement for large troopers", in wich case they're viable again...
SG at 760k€ is named "2 Wildfire Kappa", who want to guess if it will be 1) 2 kappa at a low low price 2) 2 free kappa for outcast 3) 2 free kappa for core box My bet is on 2. Not free for core cause o-12 wildfire cards are for outcast and not 1 because it would look a bit petty (since last free miniature was 200k€ before)
They better be free as they are pretty lame stretch goal if you have to pay. Hell, the card sleeves and dice tray were such a let down already since you have to pay extra. Lost a bit of goodwill here imho since both these items are superfluous to playing both infinity and defiance, as well as adding nothing of value to miniature collectors.
Well ... for me the collectors foam is superflous, since I use magnets for Transport and store my miniatures in display cases. But I can see that some want them. And that's the same for the Card Sleeves. But what do I loose with the Stretch Goal? Only a lost Stretch Goal. So nothing ... material. Not every Stretch Goal can be great for everyone.
It doesn't make good business sense to add them to a pledge for free, they'd want to encourage defiance customers to buy op wildfire as a follow up purchase.
+1 to that. A tohaa hero would totally get me in. But please no Kiel-San. Some phero specialist or offensive critter guy would be awesome. Maybe even an Taqeul Hero, Symbiobugs with a little twist(more offensive potential)would be just great.
I’m stoked about foam. I never remember to buy foam and my miniatures definitely suffer. But any time I’ve got cash, I’d rather buy more minis than boring foam. My miniatures will thank somebody “giving” me foam without a choice.
What I still want (in order) : - tohaa hero - Haqqislam/Tohaa/Ariadna cards - Fat yuan yuan mission - goodies add on - enough new ennemy card to fill the blank for each faction in the enemy conversion table (O-12/Nomads/Pano Yu-Jin LI...) - 4 Combined Army heroes (so we can play the CA infiltration in the human or tohaa land) => Victor Messer, Aida Swanson, Corax Hasst, a new Shas character - more tiles Give me all of that and you can milk at least 100 more € out of me (and of many other backer I think)
As a painter and collector I think foam is essential for transporting minis, so I’m stoked that it’s included also. Unlocks like this have got me excited in the campaign and all warm and fuzzy for CB ;-)
That's what I meant. Everybody has other priorities. I don't use foam, but that doesn't make the foam Stretch Goal bad.
Nowadays I magnetize my minis, but back in the days I used to buy foam from construction shops. About 1 m by 50 cm will be like 3-5€ and you get to cut out exactly the shapes you need for your minis.
Used to use magnet. Then a Subway door closed on my miniatures box. They flied around,crashed into each other and everything was broken. Since then I use foam. Sad story. Scratch the paint but doesn't break the mini.
