Haqq/Kasym Beg, it's listed as Impetuous, not extremely impetuous, like all the other Kum, then there's the +10 pts LT upgrade, which says "Regular, Impetuous". It seems like a bug, imo Kasym should be Extremely Impetuous, then the LT upgrade should give regular and "normal" impetuous.

 

That's correct, see the profiles PDF or N3 rulebook. He's only Impetuous, not Extreme Impetuous.

 

So what does the "Impetuous" upgrade mean on the LT loadout? Nothing? And this is the most expensive regular update out there?

 

He is impetuous on both profiles, the change is from irregular to regular. He pays extra because suddenly he can participate in Coordinated Orders, I suppose.

 

My problem is, that Impetuous is listed as an upgrade on the LT loadout, while it seems to be not. Also a Irregular to regular upgrade is usually 2 pts, LT upgrade is free, so 10 points for an irregular to regular upgrade seems like a bug. Because of these two things I thought it supposed to be Extremely impetuous, then with the LT ugprade you get a regular and an impetuous upgrade.

 

No, he is noted to be Impetuous in the Lt profile because it changes "everything"; were it to say nothing but regular, players would understand that he goes from irregular + impetuous to plain regular.

As for the cost, I would disagree it's 2 points, much less for all troops (the costs depend on more than just "it's a light infantry"). Plus it's a troop that gets a free order (the Lt one, and can be a Datatracker!). Also, he's been costing that for ages.

 

I support Zsolt opinion on strange cost bump (take bounty hunters for example and their costs difference for being irregular->regular). The argument "he's been costing that for ages" doesn't exclude "it was wrong for ages". can't also believe it is becaus of +1 swc (again, other examples where its cheaper - kusanagi in nomads where +1 swc is free...having impeteous LT can be a drawback, as you either invest in chain of command, or take a big risk to find yourself in LOL)

Ok, let's see. Nomads have no Chain of Command, so Kusanagi is a very obvious Lt, thus the cost of +1 SWC being the same as having a Spitfire downgraded. Nomads have the Farzan (a VERY safe CoC, thanks to being a camo. Unless Dart comes across with her 50% discover chance -WP13+MSV1+advanced deployment 2-)
Bounty hunters being regulars on ISS I think it's more about fluff than rules, and it certainly helps to not going to autoinclude a Kuang Shi core. Mind you, I think they are undercosted for that change.

So Kasym Beg pays for going from irregular to regular, and to grant a +1 SWC to the army (an army that doesn't really need that, though...) without any downgrade on weapons to compensate.

To be sincere, I'd say he should be 21-23 pts, but I doubt he will be revised before even Ramah.

 

In Vanilla Aleph, the first model added to any list does not count against group limits or generate an order in the order count.

Never mind... I think the system got confused by adding/removing post humans.

 

On the website and mobile website, in JSA, the Yuriko Oda Panzerfaust profile costs 23 pts and the emitter profile 24. In Infinity Army Mobile 5.2.0 the profile costs are reversed. The profiles PDF indicates the APP is wrong

Wu Ming in Ikari are missing the Combi+E-Mitter profile presumably it's hidden because they can't form Duo teams but there's no version of the profile without Duo.

@Zoe – it appears that the Authorized Bounty Hunter for Ikari has the "Fireteam: Duo" skill listed, but they are not allowed to form a Duo in Ikari Company. This is either a bug in army, or a bug in the PDF/Wiki (which @ijw might want to know about).
