Infinity Army 7 (N4) Updates & Bugs

- Army: JSA
- Troop: Ninjas Reinforcements
- Browser used & Operative System: Windows 10 / Chrome
- Description of the bug: The Reinforcement entry for Ninjas lacks a troop classification. Should be Spec Trained Troops.

 

- Army: Aleph, OSS, ISS, Neoterra vs O-12
- Troop: Deva Functionaries
- Browser used & Operative System: Windows 10 / Firefox
- Description of the bug: Icon that shows availability in which army it can be fielded is different for Deva Functionaries for O-12 entry that the rest Aleph, OSS, ISS and NCA. Looks like O-12 limited profiles are a separate entry.

 

Hi all,

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, so apologies in advance if it needs to go in another forum...

I noticed that all the Spec-Ops troop profiles are missing in the Army 7 browser (using Google Chrome on Wndows 11).

Does this mean Spec Ops are being dropped from N5...?

Reason for asking is that I was wanting to run a Narrative Campaign at my FLGS and include the Spec-Ops rules as per the old Infinity Campaign System (ICS)

This concerns the N5 app but not certain where to put it..

These TAGs don't have courage or religious:

*triphammer
*Gorgos
*All nomad TAGs except the stigmata

Considering the digger (HI from the same release and fluff background as the triphammer) has courage, all Tohaa HI have courage, and all but two Nomad HI have courage or religious (triggermen and riot grrls are the odd ones out) i find it hard to believe that these TAGs are not meant to have courage or religious.

 

Might be a bit early to report, in Army for N5, Torchlight Brigade has the same Fireteam Restrictions as a Vanilla Faction despite being a Sectorial and having a "Core" list available to them. (Meaning the Amount of Duo/Haris/Core allowed in the top part of the Fireteams Chart seems wrong).

 

That will be a veeeeeeeeery active topic in the coming months...

Nomad Tags were never Corageous or Religious except the Stigmaton. That was an essential weaknes which was maybe overseen by talking about their points.

- Description of the bug: The Link Team Chart allows Perseus FTO to join. But there is no FTO Profile

 

Army: O-12
Troop: Zeta Unit
Did the Zeta really lost its Tactical Awareness? Or is this a mistake?

- Troop: Rasail Boarding Team
- Browser used & Operative System: Firefox, iOS Army app
- Description of the bug: The Lt. Spitfire profile costs 30 points, while the non Lt. Spitfire costs 34 points. Considering the other profiles, the Lt. Spitfire profile should cost 34 points.

- Description of the bug: The web Army still shows Pistol weapons as Melee weapons, but looking at the Weapons Table almost all pistols lack de CC property.

 

And the Reverend healers were mimetism -3 for at least an edition and a half, and the maghiriba didn't have courage till N4 at which point it was religious *and* courageous for three and a half years till it was fixed to just have religious.

Just because things were a certain way in a past edition doesn't mean it was intentional or not a bug.

The TAGs not having courage feels more like an oversight rather than an essential weakness, especially in one of the three TAG factions. These are 4 meter tall mechanical suits afterall.

Also sort of glossed over the digger and gorgos.

 

Just wish to confirm that N5 Najjarun still don't get Deactivators. Hope springs eternal!

- Description of the bug: Basic Ghulams is the same price of Naffatûn models (11 pts). Are the new Light Shotguns worth the same price as PS 6 light Flamethrower, grenades, and +3 BTS? This might need to be reviewed.

 

Army: Tunguska
- Troop: Zondnautica
- Browser used & Operative System: Chrome and iOS App
- Description of the bug: Hi, it seems that when you add between 1 and 3 of the 3 Zondautica profiles, the app gives a warning that you have exceeded the availability for the Zondnautica. It’s behaving as if Zondnautica are AVA 0, if that makes sense.

Troop- every Troop with Tactical Awareness
Browser used- Android App (perhaps other versions too, can't check)
Description of the bug- App counts troops with Tactical Awareness as two troops.

- Description of the bug: Valerya has different stats and different point costs in different lists (both have only the one profile). BTS0 and 21 points vs BTS3 and 19 points. The first seems to be just her N4-profile copy-pasted?
