Muyibs have a lot of options and strategies available to them, so I'd like to ask how you like to use them. What profiles do you like to use? What strategies do you like to use with them? How do you utilize their strengths? How do you cover their weaknesses?

It depends on which list you are playing. Vanilla or sectorial? I play Bahram and i figured out a link with 5 muibs and without a full link tea I play Asawira Haris with smoke and doctor.

In vanilla, I mostly take one of the minelayers. They help fortify my DZ against AD or ODD Rambos.

LET ME SHOW YOU THE WAYS

Typically I take Muyibs in a few formats. If I'm playing Bahram, then I might take them as a core link, or add a Muyib to an Asawira Haris. A Muyib link is fast and flexible, with a variety of weapon options and specialists. Usually I go for a Spitfire, HRL, Doctor+, Leila and an LT option, because that makes deadly at various ranges, gives me a good Doctor and Hacker, and keeps my LT safe. I also have a habit of throwing a hidden Yasbir in there, mostly because it means my opponent is often scared of sending CC troops into them, in case he's lurking around.

In a Haris, it'll be the Asawira for the main aggressor, and then a few potential options. If I'm not taking a Ghulam link, then probably Leila because she's great in that team, but if I am, then a Muyib FO is very effective there; the Flash Pulse ARO is great, has a LSg for up close, and FOs are actually somewhat rare in Bahram. A Muyib HRL benefits a lot too here, the increased burst is good, but it gives the Haris some 24+ range firepower, and he's very cheap in pts and SWC too.

That's very critical about Muyibs btw, apart from the LGL LT, they are reaaaallly cheap in SWC. A full link as shown above is only 2 SWC, and therefore I can fit in 4 Daylami with Panzerfausts sneaking up the board, who are great but are SWC hogs, so they go together well.

In vanilla the most common one I use is the HRL. Especially vs sectoral opponents. Great cheap ARO piece. D charges a bonus.

LGL comes in handy if you can't afford a Fasid, and I like that the Lt order can be used to spec fire later into the game.

I prefer the FO to the doc in vanilla because flash pulse but I rarely use either. Dogged specialists are nice, but we have better options.

Spitfire is nice with the X visor for extra legs on the attack but I actually prefer it as a mid table suppression piece. D charges a bonus.

Mine layers are cool and can really lock the board up if you invest in them, but I often find I invest my orders elsewhere.

Panzerfaust dude is very fighty for his cost which makes him a nice profile and a terrible Lt as I use him to fight and that normally kills him. D charges on your Lt is nice though.

Incidentally, the Viral Mines loadout with an Asawira Haris is very useful. Let's them really kick ass in CQB!

I like the the other Minelayer even more. More Mines and one for every occasion. The E-Mauler protect you against the heavy stuff, which is very helpful with a forward Link-Team.

I find the AP Mines/E-Mauler load out more useful personally. Nothing like e-mauling a tag or link team of HI.

Out of curiosity what makes you choose the Muyib over the Hafza or Sekban on Vanilla?

I normally take the Sekban if I'm looking for a HRL. Out of the Muyib profiles I use the HRL the most as it is very cheap SWC wise and annoyingly durable ARO piece with a terrifying weapon.

I do like the Hafza, it can be a very nasty surprise. Sekban is the best and if I'm not tight for SWC the one I use.

I think they all have unique advantages in that role. Hafza has his Holo 1 shenanigans and is the cheapest, Sekban has +1BS +1ARM and +3BTS as well as 360 visor, and Muyib has religious and dogged as well as being .5 SWC cheaper

Do not forget the Assault Pistols. They are such a good complement for the HRL.

On the Muyib, having an X-Visor and Dogged in combination with the SWC discount, makes him a very good ARO piece.

Oh yeah, forgot about that. Chain-colt is also handy for dealing with things like oniwaban

Yup, the Sekban has answers to a lot of questions. If he had Schock Immunity too, he would be an autoinclude.
