when playing Highly Classified, do you usually try to cover all the classifieds, or do you leave a couple that you can’t complete?
I should be playing a game of Highly Classified against a friend tomorrow and I’m trying to build a list. I’m split between USARF and TAK. There are a lot of great units that can cover multiple Classifieds, but I still feel like I’m leaving one or two that I can’t reliably complete. When Classifieds come up in other missions, I’m usually happy going for Secure HVT if I can’t do what I draw, but this mission is different.
I’ll post a list later, but I just wanted to get thoughts on completionism.

Well typically I'm not building a list until I know what faction my opponent is playing, what my classifieds are, and what the primary mission is.

I also haven't had much practice yet with the new Classifieds, only just got my new deck in.

but if your doing this as some sort of tournament practice. TAK is probably a safer bet if you want to try and cover more types of objectives as they have much greater access specialists than USARF does. Especially engineers and doctors, both of which you can have in the same link team in TAK. I'd skip on any hacker coverage, as without any foreknowledge of what objectives you'll have he's more than likely going to be a liability that eats up your SWC.

USARF got really screwed by the old highly classified due to how limited they were on most specialists outside of FO's and PM's. The new one is much more forgiving since it has quite a few that don't require specialists at all. Just troop types. I think they are still much weaker than TAK in a take all comer HC mission.

If possible maybe just get an idea of what you want for your main offensive team. And then adjust the final details to suit the classifieds you draw.

    Thanks for the response.
My opponent will be playing some flavor of Haqq, it’s not always consistent. Usually we pick a scenario a few days in advance and build lists so we aren’t spending time on game night building a list.

USARF has easier access to MSV, but TAK has more sensor. They both have a good spread of Veteran & Elite troops. USARF depends more on medium and heavy infantry as well.
I may just make a hacker and non hacker list and decide at the last moment.
