Looks pretty great, I'd use any of those profiles.
Morans might’ve found a substitute for them. No more exposing your Lt. Hacker via your own repeaters. Now it’s selective with the fast panda and you can even turn off those obnoxious KHD with the jammer, which can be done even when the opponent is under a camo marker. KHD + jammer combo will definitely replace double Morans in that regard, as not only can they clean up most hacking threats but they can also provide hacking support when they’re done cleaning AND be specialists.
Extending your hacking range by up to 16 inches without the opponent getting an ARO in a lot of situations is awesome. I dunno if these would replace morans in vanilla for me all the time, but I'd definitely consider it. The red fury profile I think could also be pretty disgusting.
They fuck on Prowlers something chronic though.
Prowlers seem a bit redundant, yeah.
Wish they were BS 13. I'd happily pay the points for them to actually have an edge making them feel worth using.
Some people swear by them though, and infiltration is way better than Advanced Deployment L1.
They can also do two classifieds without being specialists and get stealth all the time. Prowlers have their place but they were already competing with zeroes and this might see them pushed out even more.
They're awful (outside of niche uses) but playable. But they could be decent (but not great).
BS13, ARM3, BTS3 -Biomimmunity -CCW. 1.5SWC for the Spitfire.
The profile that I think does them in is the Red Fury for Surprise B4 24" range. You can happily slip that into a list whereas a Prowler Spitfire is list defining.
The BSG EMarat is a really great profile that'll rarely be taken (the other three are just a lot better) and doesn't really step on the BSG Prowler's toes (Grenades are the reason you take that profile). And the Combi Prowler is a different sort of toolbox compared to the Combi Hecklers.
Lol they actually did it.
You're underestimating the prowler if you think the guys are replacing them. Reusable marker state deployed in garaunteed +3 range band will be a much better aggressive pieces than this red fury. The extra 8 inches will be crucial to deploy on top of some midfield buildings. Also camo state cannot be flanked.
These are more like a zero alternative, more aggression/ less utility. The only specialist is one that allows a new attack vector on him, he'll need 2 orders to reach most objectives, and he can't hide after pushing a button. In return he's got the fancier attack options
The Combo of a Jammer and Fast Panda is extremely good at 23 points.
The scary thing is that the Fast Panda is there in part as bloat.
I have a feeling Fast Pandas are going to be common in Tunguska. That will be interesting because I don't think players fear them as they should.
Most people don't understand how they work. Pretty much everytime I use them I need to explain that 'no, you can't Shoot them'.
Well, not as an ARO...
The Jammer/Fast Panda has incredible force multiplication capability.
The Red Fury profile is incredible.
Hoping for AVA 3 in sectorial.
Yeah Red Fury is probably my main profile, a Tsyklon type without needing to deal with REM.
Pair one with a minelayer zero, deploy mine as far back as you can. Or just take a minelayer zero and leave first mine far back just to make ppl fear the heckler.
