I would say no as the Ayyar Holo Echoes have to follow the deployment rules - and that would keep the Holo Echoes inside your DZ
Cancelling HD is not a deployment and Holoechoes only come on at deployment, status phase or entire order.
The hidden deployment holoecho question will no doubt make it to the rules subforum soon and will result in a long and interesting thread. I'd suggest not trying to have the conversation here since it will just get repeated in more depth there.
Hidden Deployment has an exception for when marker states are used. In this case it's upon cancelation of Hidden Deployment. Your market state is Holo Echo, so you reveal into it.
So they reduce Yasbir's CC and then add McMurder... colour me confused, but couldn't they just have made Yasbir better in CC and/or trickeries to cover the 'Haqq' style of stealthy beatstick role instead of adding a random wolf to our ranks? Keeping an eye on the Ayyar discussion though, one of my favourite concept designs, but it would be nice to know what role he's supposed to play.
Yeah, McMurder is funny as hell, especially with his fluff. Weird choice. And our overlooked Yasbir getting nerfed in CC and MA... Yeah, sure :D But else - Ayyar (even knowing that CB doesn't have a clue how to combo the rules of HD and Holoechoes) is interesting. Nice, that they gave him some touch. I'm also happy that we got Lasiq Viral Marksman Rifle. Not even for the profile, but for a reason to get and keep the new mini ;) I have 2 older ones, love them both, and now I can get the new one as a marksman one - works great ;) PozdRawiam / Greetings
Yes, it’s very strange. Nerf one of the most well known hassassin profiles and add in a giant ball of furry death instead. Strange indeed. I too was glad to see the viral marksman rifle. It shall be put to good use… definitely going to pick up another though and give it a spare viral sniper I have from way back in the days of the weapon packs…
McMurder is funny as heck knowing his backstory. I love it. "Oh were you scared of my Fiday deployment? Well dont I have a suprise for you! Welcome to my army list I named "Negative Play Experience"".
Haha really? Hassasins have been pretty average, even below for most of the game's history. its taken Gutier awhile to give it the pet treatment.
He is not. The RPG characters were all detailed during the Kickstarter, several of them don't appear in the miniatures game at all. Nomads are also Gutiers least favourite faction, he is on record in an interview saying that. But people insist on peddling this myth.
