Well, it was originally "Thank God we have enough food to comfortably last through the winter this year" day, with a 3-day-long feast.

Ham is in the oven now, Turkey to follow. Have potatoes and stuffing and pies (oh, lord, the pies) to finish.

 

Pun is the lowest form of human existence.

 

But it is the highest form of humour.

Thanksgiving is one of the rare times I, as a New Zealander, am jealous of North America.
