The Yuan Yuan can be replaced by a Bashi Bazouk but I wanted to test this Yuan Yuan I think it´s not enough two or three new troops. Zhayedan or Maghariba won´t save the day in a close game; Naffatum, Hakim and AlFasid are useful but nothing "wow" and Khawarij (and Tarik ) and Tuareg are goods profiles but one wound (not Tarik), they can die easily. If we plus Ghulams and REMs, I cannot see nothing...strong. Obviously, at the moment, I cannot see "the big picture" of RTF but all these troops don´t fit each others. This last year I´ve tried to make lists with these profiles and it´s complicated. Also, if RTF don´t have a troop with chain of command, play with Aggresive Tarik Lieutenant will be very risky. A set of Veteran L1 troops can substitute for Chain of Command pretty nicely, as my experience with Hassassin Govads in HB tells me. And as you've pointed out - we don't see the complete picture yet. Not enough data to make a judgement. Also: I like your list :)
CoC, NCO, Lt2, Veteran etc...are high on my wish list for RTF. They are our elite force and I'd like to see rules that reflect elite training. I want them to be viable for LI. Right now we have a bit of trouble with that format and an elite, super soldier sectorial could help.
Interesting idea, but hasent each new sectoral introduced some major new rule to the game? G:marionette G:jumper lvlz Decoy Tac awareness Lt. Lvl2 Trench hammer Wild parrot Etc... So could there be a new rule or equipment for super soldiers in this sectoral? Any wild speculation or wishlisting?
Sapper for 360 visor profile, as well as a bunch of fixes for that rule itself to make existing sappers less cumbersome? :P
We already got the Medjector, but if we would get another rule, I already had that idea with the second level of unconsciousness for Supersoldiers. If I would go any further, then a loadout for Maggy with double HRL and a rule to get the Targetless trait for Impact Template Weapons. This would allow her to be of use as a artillery piece especially against high model count lists, even if the table is shitty to move around and it would avoid the stupid luck based Speculative Fire that you would use with a HGL.
I'd love CC Skirmisher with Poison. 6-4, CC 20+, Ph 13, NBW/MA2, Poison, Infiltration/Forward deployment, Assault Pistol, Knife.. That'd be pretty fun :P
Well, I wouldn't be surprised should we see some destructive application of Haqq bioscience. Especially since it seems Viral Ammo got out of Hassassin hands anyway (see Druze sidearms for example!). And Viral is pretty potent - way more than Shock these days, as Shock Immunity became rather popular trait.
They were in the same list I couldn´t win but the victory was close... This would be great! I think a CC Specialist with poison would be perfect! Something like Hulang or Igao! Our CC Specialists are Fidays, Kums, Asawiras or Khawarijs. One more could be a big incorporation to Vanilla Haqqislam too. Yes, we have no enough data to make a judgement yet. I.e. nobody could know how Invincible Army were going to be before it release. Also I would like more Shock Immunity in RTF. Our great doctors are useless if our troops die by Shock ammo...
Well, even as of now RTF got enough of shock-immune units. Khawarijs with Bioimmunity, Hakims with Regeneration, Tarìk and Fasids with 2W... Magariba for obvious reasons.. That's like 5/7 sectorial-specific units. Pretty good so far!
I'm half-expecting a heavy infantry super-soldier or a rework with reduced cost for the Khawarij. Possibly a HI Khawarij-equivalent?
No wound incapacitation + shock/bio immunity seems to be the rage these days. Actually fits the super soldier theme in a way, going for a more biological medicinal approach rather than high-tech armor to be more resilient.
