how many times can I buff hack with a single order. More specifically, if a begin an order successfully buffing a Unidron sniper with Assisted Fire which is a half order; can i then use the second half of the order to buff another Unidron with Assisted Fire as well? I ask because in my last game that is the way we played it. Since if you fail the buff you can use the second half to try again; we logically believed that we can buff hack two separate models with a single order. Is this wrong?
Assisted Fire is an Entire Order Skill (Red border), so nothing else is possible. In addition, Assisted Fire is cancelled if the hacker runs any other Supportware, so running it a second time cancels the first instance. Even if it was a Short Skill, you can only Declare one Short Skill (Green Border) and one Short Movement Skill (Blue Border) or Two Short Movement Skills (Blue Border). Two Short Skills (Green Border) is not allowed.
Yeah, each Hacking Program is technically a different skill so some are Entire Order Skills, some are Short Skills, and some are AROs, or a combination thereof. Note that even on the Active turn Gotcha is once per Order as it is a Short Skill (Green Border)
Whelp, I played that game wrong. My biggest transgression was definitely hacking Assisted Fire onto three different Unidrons from a single Hacker. Thanks clarification everyone.
