This "impulse buy" was indeed a very very good choice! :) I really like them, a Zoe-buffed Pi-Well is a beast in active turn and ARO. And Zoe is the only SWC-free hacking device I know of.

Yeah I feel that with a Moira link a Überfallkommando does add more then Morlocks, because MSV2 units can just as easily pick off Morlocks as they can the Moiras so the Überfall adds a great tool to get rid of such an obstacle. Another thing I am curious about is adding a Meteor Zond to a Moira Link with EM LGL, with FDlv1 it's pretty tempting and potentially devastating. Could also do it with 2 Zeros instead of them to be more conservative. Or Zoe and Pi-Well, though they don't add necessarily any supporting to the Moira link.
The Meteor is honestly a pretty awesome value if you can swallow the SWC cost. I used to think it was dumb but after using it in 5-6 games it can be a real MVP. Super Jump is a nice touch
I think it used too though. I noticed that the other day as well, but seem to remember it had at one point.
Maybe it was maybe it wasn't, just looked at the old rulebook and it's not there either. I guess maybe the flying base just suggests it and the Ekdromos are the only superjumping AD troops. :/
I’ve been challenged by the guy who helped me work out what to buy to use less/none grrrls to really see what can be done with bakunin. With my background in other games, he wants me to come from left field once I get a solid grasp on them. I’m up for the challenge. Soon
Don't forget about White Noise. The Custodier HD+ is really what takes away from a Moira Core and leads towards the Haris choice for me.
So what are people’s thoughts on morlocke spam? Say 8 morlockes and a uberfell kommando unit split across two groups for some regular orders as well? Sprint forward. Lay down smoke and eclipse. Murder anything you can get to.
Warband spam is a thing in some metas, it is not a thing in other metas. I personally find the sweet point at 2-4 Morlocks with 1-2 Uberfalls.
So I understand, the chimeras are Ava 3 but I can still only take 3 pupniks total? So the other chimeras would be on their own?
Uberfalls are AVA3 each Uberfalls can have up to 3 Pups. Note the green tick of ITS validity. Yes this is probably not the way it's actually written.
Problem can be that Uberfalls are real active turn order hogs in my experience. So have diminishing returns where you don't have a whole group to feed each unit. I've used two Ubers successfully (esp with large order counts) but three is a hard ask for me at least, and they're my favourite unit. Whereas Morlocks are fine with few orders , since they are good at defensively trading in reactive as a skirmish line for their cost
I've never managed to figure out a list where three Uberfall looked workable. The order pool never looks any good... I normally don't worry much about tackling long-range ARO's (obligatory Fireteam Dude, TR bot) but if you're trying to have 17 orders and three Uberfall it's suddenly a huge problem. I'd love to take three but I don't know if there's an honest way to do it.
