I've been skipping the minelayer one for the DepRep and E/Mauler access lately myself. Especially when I bring the KHD Zero and a Custodier as it gives you tons of options.

Yeah, Dep Rep EMauler + KHD is my go to Custodier Link support options.

But you notice the lack of options once your regular opponents just start going 'fuck hacking, I'm going low tech'.

If you get them to that point, you have already won.

I'd agree. Except that HDs are stupidly overpriced vs Ariadna.

HD+s are pretty good though, because Ariadna players often take any MSV1 they can get.

I tend to find that for any HD I take, if I take a REM, I can at least buff the REM a bit!

Incidentally played a game last night against Tohaa with the Prowler Spitfire, and he did good! Killed one of those sapper sniper guys with a couple of orders (damn Symbiotes!) and then later on in the game, killed an Ectros in Suppression Fire as wel! Good lad.

I need to take him again now that we've stopped our local Tohaa player from Gutsing prone after taking the hits on Symbiomates.

The problem I found with Prowlers is that I could reliably clear off my opponents AROs for 1 turn, but then I'd get eaten before I could do it again. Whereas if they have to stay standing, it's just more orders.

He's kinda ideal vs Tohaa: you can easily push him under Sniper or ML range, and without Sixth Sense they're on very low odds of hurting him in the initial exchange. Pluse it's one of the few times you can actually use his Bioimmunity.

E/Maulers are good against hackable and non-hackable opponents, so i use her much in tournaments (Maybe she is not so usefull against f*cking Morats).

In Bakunin my normal loadout of Zeros is: Hacker Assasin, Minelayer, Deployable Repeater.
Switch the minelayer for a Forward Observer when in the group is a Lizard with Heavy Grenade Launcher or a Vertigo Zond.

I think the two less used options (for me, at least) are the Multi Sniper Rifle, and the shotgun. I don't think they are bad, just, too few Zeroes to put in the field.

I tend to swap ourt the EMauler for the FO to support Lizards / Vertigos but otherwise can confirm that's the best trio. :)

EM isn't entirely wasted vs Morats. Remember that it both Isolates (to which they're immune) and Disables (which they're not) Morats with comms equipment.

custodiers, riot girl spitfire, prowlers, zeros, chimera and pupniks seems old really. i want to use 3 chimera with 9 pupniks and 4 morlocks, wouldnt be awesome ?

do you have any nice converts for zeroes ?

I don't mind the old scale. I like the Bakunin line being a bit small. I think it's relatable in a setting full of weirdos and professed badasses.

I can say that I have thought long and hard about a functional triple-Uberfall list. It comes with so much built-in conflict, though... You want a small army because the Pupniks are going to hog the whole DZ, but you need lots of orders to keep everyone organized and get the most of your hell runs with the Uberfalls.

I suspect the key could be Uberfalls + Sin Eaters + Moderators.

I think double Uberfalls is probably the most viable option. It gives you the redundancy without overinvesting.

Friendly reminder that you can get 4 X STR2 Uberfalls if you play the Paradiso campaign.

Won't work terribly well for specialists/classifieds, but 3x Uber, 2x Sin Eater HMG and 5x Moderators with a couple of paramedics fits in 185pts.

Pack group 2 with some zeroes and maybe a taskmaster and that might work fairly well.

    Metal Hexxer says hi.

Now I just need to find some CB dogs and it's a basically a Fay Wildhunt Cosplay. She also works as a Puppet-muster for Vanilla.

I'd absolutely love a Chimera and Pupnik resculpt. A new box would be mint, they're definitely showing their age and such a cool and unique troop deserves a modern redo.

Don't forget the humble normal Combi Rifle wielding Zero! I'd assume that is the least used profile at all. For me the MSR Zero was a non-choice for three years until the IP missions were released. I put him in one of my lists for some testing and I have to admit he's cool.

I just finished reading the packet for season 10. Forward Deployment 1 on all Observance troops? It's time to rethink some entries in the tactica.
