Hello there, been painting and playing Infinity for a few years now and made some group shots of my minis lately, So I decided to open this thread to show you my stuff. I focused on Corregidor Sectorial Army for a year or so and almost finished it. I hope to start Tungunska soon. So group shots: Right now I'm working on several minis, not sure which one will be done first (could be the Iguana if i'm not too lazy :p).
Wow, that's a lot of minis! The yellow is different/interesting (I can't talk trash about color choices, my Nomads are SW Rebel orange flight suits with white/nearwhite armor).
Hi! thx for your comments :) Héhé merci ^^ I always wanted a yellow army, not sure why, yellow is not my favorite colour at all. So when I started Infinity it sounded like a good idea to paint my nomads like that, after all it was only10 or 15 minis ... And now my Iguana and its pilot are done:
I feel the same way on both accounts. My personal goal is to have at least one sectorial, faction or army for each major color. Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Purple, Orange, Black, White. Though I would like to have a way to use Brown as well. Combining two major colors together makes this alot easier but sometimes it is hard figuring out "good" combos in my eyes/critique. I tend to not redo a color I used before when painting another force. This is unnecessary but I wanted to see if it was possible for me to achieve my goal this way. As for your paint scheme I think it's amazing. The bumblebee look with blueish highlights fits together really well. It encourages me to continue with my own color wheel painting goals and figure out which combinations flow the best.
Hi there, thanks for your comments guys ^^ Yeah that's some kind of personal challenge, and when i started my Nomad army, i've never imagined that i'd have so many minis (Infinity is just a skirmish game after all xD). So yellow sounded like a good idea :p I don't regret it but that color is sometime a real pain to paint. I also play Aristeia! so last year I've painted the core box: Individual pics: Spoiler The Soldiers and Fortune expansion: And Human Fate:
Hey, back on painting Infinity lately with my last miniatures for Corregidor Sectorial Army. First, a Wildcat, i changed his head cause i used it on my Señor Massacre proxy: Valerya Gromoz: A Tomcat with his Zondcat: And finally the Alguacile Paramedic: So from now on it'll be Tunguskaaaaa! :D
@Gurutz29 Long time no see. Looking forward to your Tunguska stuff after seeing the wonderful yellow Nomads you've painted so far.
Hi, Thanks! Here they are, I've started with the Securitates, lightly altered the usual color scheme keeping the same palette to fit a bit better their security agent style. Love those minis, love the designs, love the sculpts, love their attitude. It was a real pleasure to paint them. Now gonna add some wheels to that force...
Not on subject but might I ask where you got your decor? Also I'm not set yet on if the Zondnautica is a boy or a girl. The chest pice protrude quite a bit.
I'm pretty sure the ZondNaut is supposed to be a girl, it's very obviously 'inspired' by Priss from Bubblegum Crisis (and her moto-slave)
Yep the pilot is a woman. And now i got to check what's Bubblegum Crisis is :D They're Sci Fi Terran Crate from Mantic. Great kits easy to build and paint.
It's an older classical-cyberpunk anime, a small group of people fighting against the corrupt corporation/government. There are two versions of it, the original Bubblegum Crisis, and then BGC Tokyo 2040. They might be set in the same timeline...
Here you go, it's one of the aesthetic inspirations for Infinity so it's worth a look. According to the Wiki (as i haven't seen Crash yet), it happens a few years later, but there seems to be IP clashes in production. If in doubt, i always go to AniDB's relation graphs, they tend to be very accurate and complete. It lists Crash as a sequel. And it seems like i have lots to watch. Maybe after i get done with all the Godzilla movies as i'm already committed
Crash comes after the original Bubblegum Crisis, and ADPolice is also part of the same setting. I'm less certain about BGC Tokyo 2040 being part of the same timeline, though it's stated outright that the 2040 team is the second Knight Sabers squad.
I have all the BGC stuff (even the Adam Warren comic Grand Mal (the horror, the horror.)). 2040 is a totally different timeline. It is a remake of the original BGC, and, in my opinion, worst.
