Alright here's a doozy, any dossiers you've seen with the big bolt on the limbs. Seems rather *ahem* lo tech to me.
It seems really familiar but I can't seem to place it. However the blackjack does have one of those big stupid screws on it.
Process of elimination, Vedic has been confirmed by Bostria, and the last few seminars have had more info on Varuna (Echo Bravo, new Orcs, Patsy) than Ramah. Plus there are now several factions that currently have as many Sectorials as PanO and that just won't do! That said, Hakims were a curveball, and I wouldn't imagine we'll be waiting too long into next year for Ramah.
I don't know why people assume we're getting Varuna over Rammah. These are all the units with models not including rems and engineer for Rammah right. This is far more complete then Tunguska right now. Rammah ────────────────────────────────────────────────── GROUP 1 10 GHULAM Rifle + Light Shotgun / Pistol, Knife. Hell yeah, the Russians would just feel inadequate next to the Americans if they didn't have a hulking lump of metal to call their own. I'm rooting for something big and ugly.
Because bostria explicitly said so in Cancon in January (well - he said tunguska, vedic and varuna - given we're seeing ariadna teasers and have got JSA - no more slots this year for RTF)
While I may be biased, I'm in the party this is a Redjack. While Aleph bots have the big screws, but the design of the armor does remind me a lot of the blackjack, having built both of them. Also it almost looks like it has blackjack style fingers. Either way I'm now guessing the title, "Operation Screw this"
Another one for you guys, that's no new sillouette on the right... IT WAS OLD MAN VERONIN THE WHOLE TIME! The right arm, the collar and the right angle on the left shoulder are a match.
I don't know how you can tell about his right shoulder cuz it's behind the arm of the guy next to him. While they're incredibly similar, I don't remember Voronin wearing a hat (if he's not the shadows on his head have confusing lines), and the folds in his clothes don't look like they match up exactly Could be, but it'd be really weird to include a named character in an (assumed) two player box if that's what this is.
Whoops I got mixed up when writing this (early in the morning here) I meant his left shoulder, to the right of the image. (edited my initial post) Either way, if it means an update to Veronin's rather meh profile, or a new profile all together, the more the merrier.
The silhouette looks like he's wearing a beanie. My two cents is that it seems entirely possible--likely, even--that the new Line Kazakh design will be very similar to Voronin's outfit: jacket, high collar, etc., and that's what we're seeing here. Repackaging Voronin into a box full of otherwise new figures makes no sense, and neither does resculpting him since we've already had an alternate version offered via the KS campaign.
