Well, it looks like their neighbor Chile has joined PanO. The mission probably doesn't directly relate to Fluorine (like an industrial plant or water treatment). It could be symbolic to its use. Fluoride is an ion of Fluorine and was added to water to prevent tooth decay. Maybe the secret mission is preventive in nature ? Fluorine was initially used to lower melting point of metals, perhaps the secret mission is a secondary operation that will help the success of a primary operation. Argentinian i could see either relating to Argentinian descendants in PanO, or a mercenary group; relate to something Argentina is/was known for; or relate to the etymology of Argentina (made of silver).

Looks like I accidentally caused people to generate generators. That's like two layers of generation :P

Nice. I sometimes get "undefined" as a prefix, not sure if I've got something weird in my spreadsheet or if maybe it's looking at an empty column?

...I also got "Operation Dying Tactics" which sounds like the kind of reason the JSA rebelled.

The first nationality column, between Wotan and Misc 1, contained America and Spain. I tried to write the more prominent Infinity community bases I knew of in there, and then fill in some blanks in the second.

...I am noticing these might also be good generators for bodyspray scents.

    • Operation Pakistani Ratel

    • Operation Dronbot Grave

    • Operation Mexican Hill

    • Operation Warcors Oak

    • Operation Cold Aeroplane

Fair play, that's a good run, though Cold Aeroplane sounds a bit lol.

This is pure gold! Favorited both links and we'll be using it for more than just the incoming Campaign missions if you don't mind :D

I was kinda “Well, that was fun, but I should get back to the Rules forum now and put on my serious face; and then
Okay, I could stay a little longer; there’s nothing like the scent of Warcors Oak to keep us all strangely aroused

You should check Spud's Hacking Helper... and mimic the manifest/appcache. It's just a change to the html opening tag and adding a file with proper format listing required files.

Technically, an operation name should have absolutely nothing to do with what you're trying to accomplish. At least an operation during open warfare.

Sometimes, people name operations for their propaganda value. Desert Shield, for example. IIRC, the follow-on operation was originally supposed to be Op Desert Sword, but it was changed because that made it sound too much like a 'crusade' thing. So we got Desert Storm.

Well, I dunno Section9. If there's a goblin hovercraft to be stolen from the enemy, I damn well want to call the mission 'Operation: Goblin Hovercraft' call it a propaganda thing, if you like.

Sure, but you need to consider that if someone hears about the operation in the planning stage, if the name has anything to do with the operation, you might have just given the game away.

Some generated names for your bodyspray portfolio:

Maybe "Rotting Xenon" sounds less commercial, but the Morat market is also important.

OMG, I could play all day with this: Operation Chestnut Grave! Don't tell me why, but it sounds like a film with Dan Aykroyd and Chevy Chase.

Yes. I WANT them to know we're coming for the Goblin Hovercraft, and that we'll be wearing Warcors Oak™ - it's said to have the same effect as Sex Panther.

egend has it that the first person in the world to work out how engineer window clipping in a Graphical User Interface (possibly Bill Goodman on the Apple Mac team, circa 1982, but memory fails) got distracted on the way to greatness by a useless personal project. And so whilst unworthy to dust off that great man's Birkenstock's, at least I also got distracted by a useless personal project. Thus, I present screenshots of the latest version of Operation Name Generator for iPhone!

And as you can see, time was well spent re-arranging the pickers, and there are now critical characters added to the data lists ...

    Operation: Bostria's Rhubarb sounds brutal.
