I don't have many painting secrets - am happy to share my methods ;) I have such a recipe in my scratch book: Periscopes (Val) mix 1:1 Periscopes / Turquise (Cal) Turquise mix Turquise / Off White (Val) Coelia Greenshade Wash (GW) Turquise lines & points Off White points I also have another recipe, which I use for the large commission. It goes: Coal Black (P3) Periscopes (Val) mix 1:1 Periscopes / Turquise Coelia Greenshade Wash Trollblood Base (P3) lines & points Off White points

Hey folks. I bring new work in progress pics for you. I'm currently done with most of the lining on black, NMM detail on clothes, clothes themselves, armor, skin, EYES :P What's left to do is points of focus, bases and swords of all kind. Some OSL. I was asked to paint swords blue - am sure it will kick ass in the end, as blue and yellow go along very well. Some additional detail and corrections and I'm actually pretty close to the finish line right now.
Are you batchpainting a whole army at once with that level of detail? Your discipline stat must be high.
Hey there hobby folks! Just so you won't accuse me of being lazy - here's a proof of my utter devotion to work ;) Yu-Jing collection is finished, but the commission is not over yet. This is just the very first end quality picture. Now before me stands whole night of taking pics, resizing and putting them into frames. Usually I wouldn't drop a single pic without a link to finished gallery - but damn! I'm so excited! :P I recommend opening this puppy in a new tag to see full resolution. Looking closely you can totally see "struggle" in how layers are executed. Am super happy to finally give this one justice and take proper quality pics. Yup, was also curious about this. Either it was already painted, which is my guess, or will be added in the future.
No new projects for now (although I'm painting a Puppetica and some singles right now, so - soonTM). Instead I would like to drop this one here in case any of you fine folks might consider dropping a collection my way ;)
All the hype of upcoming N4 and previous Yu-Jing army pic pushed me off the edge. I put almost all of my Nomad minis on a background and took a big family pic. Now you know it's not like I only paint commissions :P
Awesome! Really great „army“ you have there. The paint scheme works really well from afar but also in a more close view. Nice contrast from the dark red to white I think we can safely speak of an army compared to Infinity sized battle groups
