From Haqq, through DBS and landing in SAA

    Hello fellow PanO players. This month I'm going to participate in a tournament using SAA as my army. From a Haqqislam player view, I found this army very familiar and as a DBS player I love de link potential.

    I´m particularly keen in Bagh Mari, Dart (the perfect huntress) and the ORC (although they are pricey). So, in this tournament we are going to play Rescue, Capture and Protect, and Decapitation, any help with the lists and minis I should use.

    It's the perfect amount of utility and DZ defense with the mines. for only 6 points more the Bagh sniper brings a lot more than the regular sniper. The link being able to shift from defensive to offensive after the sniper goes down is amazing as well. sensor in the link team is also clutch for moving up the board – in conjunction with Fugazi. you can splash in an LT if need be.

    I'm a big fan of the ORC Feueueurbach in a Fireteam, it's very close to the HMG in active turn performance but also a devastatingly scary ARO piece, I love it's flexibility

    The Bagh Mari Sniper's 6 points more than the Regular Sniper, so you do pay quite a bit ofr it, but you gain a lot as well. 6 points for constant Mimetism, mines + minelayer, MSV1, and a bit of armor is a good investment.

    The teams I usually run are similar to @MikeTheScrivener , though I think it's actually hard to go wrong with that mixed link. It's just so good, and both Bagh Mari (Sniper, HMG) or ORC (HMG, Fuerbach) are strong additions.

    What scenarios will you be playing in your ITS?

    Still we have 3 SWC to expend in something more. I will add for sure 2 Nagas (FO+Mofilament Mines) or 1 Naga + Dart. You could add too Drakios Red Fury or Guarda de Assalto Spitfire. Or both. Here you have some options non dependent of the fireteam.

    Mine is somehow different, with the choice of keeping the Bagh-Mari outside of the link to play the role of a lone gunner (the reserve mini in this case):

    This link is very static; all the job is done by the two Nagas and Dart. You can add a Guarda de Assalto or a Montesa if you want.

    Going first the Sapper is left out of the fireteam, going second the Sapper + Feuerbach are the ARO pieces. I've still got mines deployed from the start and I have some serious anti-camo game with MSV and sensor in the link (plus it's SAA, 3 Fugazi in group 2 is a given). While I'd like B5, the AP+DA at B3 (20's to hit scenery items in relevant ITS scenarios) is basically as good and the B2 EXP in ARO just pushes it into worthwhile (the points saving helps as well). Depending on what else is in the list, I might stick a paramedic in (either BM or Reg), but I've usually got enough specialists elsewhere for the link to be mostly fuelling other units in later turns.
