I can do a Securitate haris with Perseus, right?
He counts as Securitate, both of them have "Special" as a FT option, and his profile has Haris.
No reason it wouldn't work, right?

    No

Perseus' Special Haris is explicitly only himself, Raoul, and a Stempler FTO.

Securitate don't have access to Haris, only Core.

Another question here. I'd like to be sure i get the fireteam composition right.
Let's say i wanna make a Hollow Men FT. According to the rules, it can be :
    - a core FT : made of 2 to 5 HM
    - a Haris FT (3 HM) EDIT 1 HM w/ FT:Haris option + 2 HM
    - a duo FT (2 HM)
    - any of the special FT which are Special Duo (1 HM+1KB) or Special Haris (1 HM w/ FT:H option + 2 KB) or Special Core (1 to 4 HM + 1 Stempler Zond FTO option)

    Is it right ?

Is there possible combinations of multiple FT ? (i know that there can only be 1 FT Core, but is there a possibility to have multiple FT other than core ?)

    Yes.

You can have, on the table at one time:
    One Fireteam: Core
    One Fireteam: Haris
    Any number of Fireteams: Duo

Thx a lot, help much appreciated : i played only Tohaa so far so i was just into the triads, wich is quite straightforward and simple, and i got a bit lost with the Special FT thing...

TAK has a little hitch that I can't figure out because of the wildcard troops.

The special fireteam of the 112 is 'up to 4 frontovik +112'
So the absolutely legal combinations are:
    1-4 frontoviks and a 112
1-3 frontoviks, a 112 and Voronin or a Veteran Kazak
    1-2 frontoviks, a 112, Voronin and a Veteran Kazak
    1 frontovik, a 112 1-2 veteran kazaks and Voronin
    1 frontovik a 112 and 1-3 veteran Kazaks

All of those are 'up to 4 frontoviks and a 112' that the wildcard troopers can join later, but what if there aren't any frontoviks? 0 is still 'up to 4' since there's no minimum specified, so can you make fireteams of the following? :
    0 frontoviks a 112 and 1-4 veteran kazaks
    0 frontoviks a 112, 1-3 veteran kazaks and Voronin
    0 frontoviks a 112 and Voronin

I don't think that's the intention of the 112s special core, and some of the combinations are of very questionable value, but I guess they could be useful to form mid game for getting a bigger chunk of points moving to a quadrant, or GTFOing from the danger zone in biotechvore...

    I read it as 1-4 Frontoviks/Vet Kazaks/Voronin + 112

So a VK and a 112 would be a valid Special Core by my reading.

So I have a question about duo (I know it probably should be obvious but bear with me here)
    • The Fireteam must include at least one trooper with the Fireteam: Duo Special Skill.
From that I assume that I can link a Ratnik with a Veteran that does not have the duo skill, correct?
Likewise, I could link one of the duo Veterans with one of the non-duo Veterans?

Correct, only one member of the team needs the skill, just like Haris.

Yeah the only problem I can see with that is that the VKs 'join' any fireteam and the 112 or a Ratnik isn't a fireteam on its own...

It's a poor choice of words as technically you can't "Join" Fireteams, they're formed wholesale with all members at once.

IJW has confirmed several times that "join" means "count as a member of for the purposes of forming"

"Up to" has been stated as 0-4.
The Wildcard-Troopers may take the place of any trooper - it means they may replace any trooper. The minimum numbers are overwritten. The 112 may be replaced... (But you have to have at least one trooper with the skill (Duo, Haris, etc.)).

Core does not need a skill, I guess you have to have at least one trooper with the abillity to form a core, but I am not sure about it. And maybe it makes a difference, if you start with a team (totally disfigured , but logically built) or if you try to form it during the game, where "Wildcards" are your foundation of totally different fireteams.... any clarification, please?

Thats the question in a nutshell really.
Technically you need 2 or more valid fireteam members to form a team, since the team will be canceled for dropping below 2. Do the wildcards count as any member of the special core or do the requirements of the special core have to be met independently of the wildcards?
If the VKs or Voronin can count as anything in the special core, then pretty much everything is fine as long as it's a core, and Haris and Duo will be valid as long as one trooper from the base unit has the skill at formation. On the other hand if the fireteam has to be valid without the VK/Voronin the frontovik+112 would require one of each before you can form it, Haris can't have a frontovik, voronin and a VK, since 2 Frontoviks would be required, and they can't form a duo with anyone but themselves.

Yes, assuming you still have someone with the Duo Skill for a Duo or the Haris Skill for a Haris.

1 Frontovik (the option with Fireteam: Haris) + 1 Veteran Kazak + Voronin would be fine.

Just to be super clear, would 3 Vet Kazaks, Voronin, and a 112 be a legal Frontovik Special Core (up to 4 Fronties +112)

And just to check, do the Harris/duo skill possessing members have to come from the base fireteam, not the veteran Kazak haris option? (so no padding out VK haris teams with Frontovik engineers...)
