I made a list with all the SoFs, I quite like in theory, but haven't played I yet:

It's missing MSV2 or Sensor though, has a couple of Shotguns and an Auxbot though, not sure if that's really enough though. You could switch the Sierra for a Brawler if you take the Massacre with BSG, but I really love the idea of the only normal deployed troop having a 360Visor to cover there backs.

Only type of list where I have found where the A-Team works, is a 400 points list for Annihilation. That is because I can included some backup units and nice ARO to support the A-Team with a Bolt Spitfire. In 300 points lists, I am still busy trying to find a good enough list to take the A-Team.

The haris options are pretty good, but then, all the haris options in FC are pretty good.

Seems to me that you really want to go first with this list. If they manage to go first and take out your TR bot, you pretty much lose your only long range weapon. You might be able to get close with Massacre's eclipse grenades after that happens or hope for a nice place for the Akalis to land/walk up.

Yeah it's definitely a bit of a gamble, maybe it would be good to include a ML or MSR Bolt in the Link instead of the Spitfire, the idea is to exploit those Eclipse Grandes like you said though.

My next game was with this against OSS on unmasking. Based on what other folks are taking, fairly typical Laxmee + Kaplans, Kriza, Feurebach Core, Uberfall and Zeroes.

MVP was Laxmee in suppressive fire. He went first and unmasked my DT on his first couple of orders. Fortunately, the core Feurebach's and CSUs won a few key firefights to drop a superior infiltrating Andromeda and his Daktini HMG. He made a few attempts to spec fire with his grenade launcher to close out the turn but I was very lucky and either dodged or saved on armour.

I went next and a Feurebach had another chance to shine as he ran up to find a sliver of line of fire to eliminate the grenade launcher dakini. It's a very satisfying gun to use, if you win the F2F the other model is just... gone!

With that threat gone, the Spitfire Kaplan and Laxmee dropped themselves in suppressive fire overlooking the DT and sat there all game. I missed spotting a key ARO so the spitfire was knocked unconscious getting into position, but the doctor sacrificed himself to bring him back. It almost didn't matter as Laxmee alone shocked four models to death over the next turn - a Deva spitfire, Naga, the last Dakini and finally a hail mary charge from his Shukura consultant.

Otherwise, the zeroes each pushed a button and the KHD shocked his Daysus. I needed all 3 consoles to reveal his DT so it was very useful having specialist CSUs to cover that gap. Finally the Kriza activated, ripped up a flank and shot everything that was left.

The only thing that didn't click was the uberfall as it was locked down by a TO Daysus. The 6" move made the impetuous movement very dangerous and she certainly doesn't have the durability of a werewolf!

I'm really digging the list man, looks like something I would definitely run. I'm curious about how you felt about double Feuerbach in the Securitate link – it sounds like they did pretty well though. I'm also surprised you ran the Kriza LT with no CoC or solid line up of veteran troopers.

Sounds like you had a good game. I get the Uberfall being tough to control, though at the end of the day she is only 21 points so it isn't huge deal if she dies gloriously, she also has TI so chances are she'll just be falling unconscious to an ARO prepping you for a doctor after the threat is cleared.

No CoC is a little risky but I think we're all used to playing nomads! I think if Laxmee had linking options with Bolts I would take them every time.

I think its manageable as OSS doesn't have nasty things like speculos or really fast threats either. When going second you can put him in a safer spot.

Here's the list I ran earlier today – it was a shit show because of my dice. My opponent was playing Hassasins and passed every armor save – at least it felt like it. Though it wasn't all bad, I realize that Hannibal + bolts + Zeros can really make it hell for your opponent to approach in the mid field. The amount of mines and shotguns you can lay about is just absolutely terrifying for anyone trying to approach

Quick heads up from a Nomad player - the Chimera can't be doctored. She's got structure, so needs an engineer

I have a league coming up and am strongly considering ForCo.

Have a list with 2 3-man teams and another with an a-team core and a kaplan haris. Will give updates once I run them

I don't think this is a terrible idea! You have pretty reasonable resiliency if going second with the minelayers and the linked Orc feurebach. Even on subsequent turns you have a good doctor, suppressive fire zeros and drop bears so it could be an annoying ARO list (which LI is often not good at). However, I don't think your first turn punch is that scary as the Hannibal link is mostly light guns and mines so you really rely on the Orc core moving up and shooting things. And unfortunately, a linked HMG is not a great reserve model as it's usually predictable where it's going. Neat idea though!

Honestly the Kriza is the only active turn HMG you really need. Maybe a Haris Kaplan Spitfire for more shootage but even then.

This is sort of what I'm thinking. I can't really see myself using much more than a Laxmee/Kaplan Haris or a Hannibal/Bolt Haris in terms of characters tbh. Croc, Zeros, Kriza and Securitate seem to be where it's at.

Alright, first game was done, armory at 300 vs spiral, 10/0 win for me

    Ran the following:
Core link of Avicenna, Valkyrie and an Orc HMG
Haris link of Hannibal BSG COC, Massacre BSG and Bolt with Spitfire
    Zero AHD
    Zero KHD
    Kriza Boracs HMG (LT)

Unfortunately i couldn't take advantage of the Hannibal link's FDL2 because of the exclusion zone, but it didn't hurt me too much

On the first turn I used Massacre to throw eclipse from out of LOF of my opponent and used that cover to run the Valk link forward, smashed the door and piled everyone in except for the KB and the Orc, who went hunting. Opponent tried to ARO with fishmen but they couldn't beat the KB face to face. They passed armor though and went to ground out of lof. Hannibal and Avicenna failed to open panoplies much to my chagrin. Orc killed a brawler and KB used the LT order to go into suppressive.
Opponent turn 1 was spent mostly just having shots plink off my KB's shell, even Neema Satar in a tri-core couldn't cause any wounds. A triad led by some artichoke with an smg whose name I can't remember ventilated my Orc. KB shredded a fishman in ARO.

Turn 2 I finally took the panoplies and shuffled around. Bolt went out around the corner and managed to put a wound into Neema, then hid. KB went hunting for fishmen and managed to kill one, then once again went into suppressive with his LT order.
Opponent turn 2 he managed to take down my KB with Neema, and another artichoke with a KHD and sensor walked up to discover but got skullbusted. The other smg artichoke walked up to the door, opened it and tried to walk inside only to get faced with 2 boarding shotguns, 1 heavy shotgun, 2 combi rifles and a flash pulse. It was a total massacre when the templates started going down. Avicenna and Hannibal ended up in NWI though.

My turn 3 I reshuffled again, KHD zero took an AHD brawler with trinity and AHD zero immobilized Aelis. Bolt went around the corner and pumped lead into her, leaving her at symbiote inactive, then Avicenna healed herself and Hannibal and Massacre and Valkyrie destroyed the panoplies just in case.
My opponent walked Aelis in and mafia-style executed Massacre with her viral pistol, but got wrecked by the others. He kept walking people in as a last ditch effort to do some damage and managed to kill Avicenna, but in the end the Foreign Company Prevailed.

My first instinct is always to take the Kriza Lieutenant in games like this but I'm trying to drop heavy hitters like him and play with more orders and indirect attackers instead. In this case, an Akal spitfire and the Uberfall were almost a perfect swap for him.

I won the lietenant roll and went first. Everything went like clockwork and the Forco mopped up the IA with minimal losses. A few highlights were:

    - I usually find the Akal spitfire difficult to use. It's easy to get into position... and then he dies to some mook with a combi simply because he rolled well and you're forced to fight within his +3. The only mod the Akal can do is fighting around cover and the mook might be in a core as well. For this game, I deliberately avoided the cheerleaders and the core. Instead, I went after the hard targets - a Yan Huo missile and a Haido sniper - simply because there was a window to get them with an unopposed shot in the back. Despite their high armour, the Akal dropped the Yan Ho in a single order and the Haido in another 2 or 3. I will probably copy this behavior next time - only shoot folks in the back, ignore everything else, no matter how tempting of a target that potential lieutenant might be. If he can shoot back, pick a different target!

    - The Zero AHDs were disgustingly effective against IA. I had them both up on top of buildings and they dropped quite a few carbonites and basilisks on his mid-field Huilangs and without a KHD, he couldn't do much about it. Normally suppressive fire mimetism HI are tough to uproot but the carbonite + feurebach combo can't be beat. Even Massacre had a moment where he got to decapitate an immobilized Huilang.

    - The star of the show was the Uberfall. He left a flank with just flash pulse AROs so the Uberfall went racing down and killed a few remotes in the first turn, both in close combat or with combi rifle. The next turn, they ran across his entire board edge, ran up a building and killed his camo lieutenant. The sacrificial pupniks were very handy to draw out AROs when smoke wouldn't work. This is the first game where they really clicked for me so I'm looking forward to using them more. The key to them - in comparison to a dogsoldier - seems to be ARO tricks with the pupniks, close combat fighting with the pupniks rather than the chimera (to get normal rolls and to keep her safe) and a surprising amount of kills with just the plain combi rifle because you can usually get into juicy spots to shoot folks in the back.

I played the same firefight list as above against OSS on Crash Site but swapped the Zero AHD to a KHD and used the spare points to upgrade a few CSU to specialists. Units were evened up between combat groups to make use of the scenario's special deployment rule.

Crash site is a unique mission from Daedalus' Falls with random deployment zones and an objective room. Before you can enter the objective room, you need to disarm the defense system (consoles outside).

    Highlights:
    - The CSU/Feurebach's had zero impact. They didn't even do any good on ARO as they lost every F2F and every armour save. I went second and deliberately kept them on the far board side away from his Dakini HMG with the hopes they would counter his Rudra with K1 and keep his specialists penned in on that side. Nope, 4 orders later I was down 4 models with just the lieutenant and a remaining CSU hiding on top of a building.

    - On the start of my turn 1, the Uberfall flipped the odds back in my favour and absolutely eviscerated the Dakini link with Deva that were left in suppressive fire holding a flank. I had to be risky with the Uberfall and go one-on-one against the Deva to start things off in an eclipse smoke cloud. After that, she ran elsewhere through her smoke while her pupniks ran out and and sacrificed themselves to kill a CSU and 2 of the 3 Dakini. I only had 6 orders to power her that turn so I was trying to cover alot of ground at once and it paid off as the pupniks rolled well against their suppressive fire opponents. With one last order, she continued going for broke and made an attempt to hit his deployment zone and nanopulse a Shukura, another Dakini and the Sophotect but unfortunately they passed armour. Massive impact from her (plus she scored classified - predator!) and I think if the ARO phase hadn't been so poor, she would have had enough orders to do even more damage. As is, she killed 4 models and was very, very close to killing another 3. I'm really enjoying her more than the Dogwarriors as the pupniks and eclipse smoke open up so many more options!

    - After the Uberfall was dropped the following turn, the Akal came in to finish off the rest of the link and the Shukura (lieutenant) on that flank. Learning from last game, I aimed to only shoot folks in the back and finished off the Dakini HMG and the Shukura. I then went for a shot on another Dakini in his DZ but sure enough, he rolled better and down went the Akal. Ugh... that's what I get for breaking the rule! However, getting the lieutenant was key as it restricted his ability to get into the objective room on T3. Sometimes strategos isn't a good thing... as it's very obvious where the Akal is going hunting!

    - Massacre, Hannibal and the bolt Spitfire did an adequate job clearing the objective room and killed the Sophetect and the Rudra (albeit at the expense of many orders). There were two mines in there so I tried to take advantage of bioimmunity but failed dodge and still failed armour!

    - The zeros were excellent once again by dropping mines to force awkward AROs and using camo state to sneak into the objective room. I simply can't see myself playing without two of these guys at all times. Just so amazingly useful. Normally an exclusion zone makes infiltrators less useful but as this map only permitted corner deployment, they were great at spreading out across the board edge.

Carnage from the Uberfall! Her pupniks run out to their death and slaughter a bunch of Dakinis while the Uberfall (bottom right) runs back through her smoke cloud and up a staircase to try to nanopulse more enemies hiding behind a wall. There's a middle piece to the wall that's removed so we can move models.

I ran a list with a 3-man Securitate core and the Laxmee/KTS Haris today.

Really makes me wish I could take all the Haris teams in FoCo!

Another two games, this time back to a Kriza and Laxmee list. I really wanted CoC this time so the kaplan's had to go and Laxmee is on her own. I really enjoyed the Akal spitfire in the last list version so he's here again.

First game was against Shock army on Hijacking and second was against Varuna on Rescue.

Hijacking is a Daedalus Fall's mission where you call drop ships and then kidnap the tech contractors inside. Very interesting mission with lots of moving parts. If you play it, I recommend you tweak the drop ships to have two doors, 180 degrees apart. We found it was relatively easy to bring down the ship then retreat with the tech contractor in safety as the ship too easily blocked LoF.

List was this. Both missions had saturation zones and exclusion zones. I wasn't expecting much out of the link team but put a lot of weight on the shoulders of the Kriza and Akal.

    6 SWC | 299 Points

    Open in Infinity Army

Now that I posted it, I noticed I was cheating as I used two warcors... clearly a hold-over from the last list.

Against Shock army, it was a minor win. The Kriza did his thing and ran a flank but eventually got dropped by an Akal and Dart. With the CoC Bolt, it feels good to be brave with that lieutenant order! My Akal then came in and shot a bunch of things in the butt before leaving himself as a huge annoyance in suppressive fire. After that, the specialist CSU called in drop ships from safety while the warcors (of all people!) rescued the contractors and ran to safety. Unfortunately, I left the same specialist CSU out to ARO and he got glued from a Bag Mari which gave 2 points back to the opponent. Win some, you lose some... The zeroes did a reasonable job fending off the Nagas with mines. The only troopers that didn't really pull their weight was the Securitate who were really stymied as a defensive team with the saturation zone.

Against Varuna, it was a 1-1 tie. It was one of those games where the dice just weren't working out. Despite the saturation zone, I shot myself in the foot and didn't leave great LoF for the Securitates so they were ineffective all game. He went first and dropped a bulleteer right in the middle of the board in suppressive fire. The Akal dropped in, killed it dead from behind, then went after Patsy and her Harris. He shot her in the back, but she passed two armour saves, took her warning, then crit him back on the next order! Somewhat chastised by this, a zero upgraded to hero and took out Patsy with an emauler, then double-tapped both the engineer and HMG Kamau. They had turned to face against the Akal but couldn't pass a change facing again. I was feeling pretty good after this so ran up with the Kriza... he killed a few things and then he got jammed. Again, CoC Bolt to the rescue! After that, both my zeroes got wiped out so I was left without many options that could grab a civilian. On the very last turn, I had 6 orders left in Laxmee's group and made a last ditch attempt to cyber-mask and grab a civilian. Unfortunately she's not quite enough of a gun-fighter... she killed a helot but got crit'ed by an Echo Bravo an inch away from the civilian. I think I played this one right and the dice were decent on average but I ate a couple crits on key plays and didn't get any all game myself.

Overall, I like this list. Kind of like Starco, I find myself almost tunnel-visioned into the same sort of builds. I've played a few games with Uberfall/Hannibal Harris and now a few games with Kriza/Laxmee. The only change I think I'll make is dropping the Daktari as I seldom bother to doctor things. I wish CSU were AVA total as I would happily take more in her place! The CoC bolt did great work by being alive but otherwise I didn't make use of him as a defensive piece and didn't activate him in either game. Something to think about more next time.

Finally got my first game in with ForCo!

    Kriza HMG Lt
    Core team:
    Securitate x3
    BSG CSU
    Breaker combi CSU
    Avicenna + helper bot
    Pathfinder
    Zero FO
    Uberfallkommando

    Group2
    Bolt Haris
    Bolt KHD
    Bolt Spitfire
    Bolt MSR

    Playing Safe Area

My opponent gives me first turn and has Saladin so no reserves. Bolts go on the right, with middling range lanes. Mix and match team starts with the MSR ready to swap Spitfire in as needed. Kriza and core go left, Kriza hauling around the Xenotech. My opponent deploys a shitton of Halqa in the middle of the board, fails 4 Daylami inferior infiltrates, and has an Ayyar sniper watching a long lane.

The Kriza mops up all the Halqa and plants the scanner, then goes into suppressive. The Bolt MSR faces down the Ayyar which I guessed was actually a Hafza HRL, blows him away. Core advances and sets up to repel drop troops since by my count he has 2. I’m correct and a Ragik assault hacker comes down. Avicenna crits him with her combi and he goes dogged, kills Avicenna and Carbonites my Kriza. A Daylami panzerfausts him and blows him to kingdom come. The second Ragik is a BSG and comes down to face off with my Bolts. Kills the Haris Bolt but the KHD BSG puts him to Dogged. A smart missile bot moves up to provide covering fire and puts a couple missiles into my Uberfall doggos but they all successfully dodge. My turn I am in LoL but still have a bunch of regular orders thanks to Veteran. Kill some Daylami, move the Uberfall within striking distance of Saladin (who is escorting Xenotech). She makes some key dodges and armor saves and survives til my next turn. I let her go wild with XImpetuous order and she kills Saladin but dies to a Panzerfaust. Shuffle some troopers around to make sure I’m claiming 3 zones and pass to my opponent. He is able to dislodge me from his left zone and kills the only Securitate holding my left zone. He ends up scoring 2 zones to my 1. I placed my scanner, he did not place his. Neither of us control a console or did our classified, so he ekes out a win 2-1.

Overall really liked the list. Not worrying about LoL due to Veteran is pretty nice. Bolts do well as active turn shooters, both the MSR and Spitfire are quality gunfighters in the Haris. The cheap core headlined by a breaker combi is actually solid value when the Kriza is doing the majority of my long range fighting. Uberfall does Uberfall things, never really needed the Eclipse smoke in this matchup and table but it’s nice to have.

I’d like to be able to sneak a combi E/Mitter Akali in there somewhere but there’s not a lot of points to cut. Maybe cut Avicenna to a Daktari and cut the Pathfinder?

Cannot wait to try some of the other lists I have cooking, overall I’m pretty stoked about the faction and the choices we have available.
