wow, great job making soldiers of fortune fireteam fragile and pretty useless, CB. No access to team-pro and special links that can't be reformed if you lose a merc. Who playtests this game?
Oh wow, I did. Ok, thats a bit better. Still terrible though since I'd much rather not have to waste the points on an EVO hacker. Foreign failure feels like a disappointment. A weak MSV 2 sniper, only 2 eclipse grenades. At least the Orc fireteam with Valkrie + Avicenna looks interesting. Am I missing something or are KTS unable to make a full 5 man team? I guess they are just here for a haris option. Bolts and Orcs seem to be the way to go with fireteams. Overall, feels kind of meh compared to what the other Merc companies can do. This is just mostly Pano with zeros and a little bit of melee. Big whoop. /sarcasm
My interpretation is they are a necessity. If there is a + you need this component. If there is a phrase like "up to" you got a choice. Therefore in the first Fireteam Core option you could only take Hannibal, Valkyrie and Senor Masscare and no Bolts. In the second Fireteam Core you have to take all the SoF and either a Bolt or a Orc. Although iam a relative newbie so take this with a grain of salt. Edit: Iam so very, very slow! xD
An entire Sectoral that seems to only exist to play a box set of figures seems... not super exciting. I own half of the stuff already though, so I'll keep an eye on it and maybe proxy it out. I do need to just start proxying remotes for their equivalents though. So many things I never try out simply because I don't own the arbitrarily unique versions of the TR and cheap order bots...
Sales must have been low. Dashat is where it's at. Really excited for Dashat, it finally feels like an actual all mercenary army with a ton of flexible modeling options.
Dashat seems cool, I just don't have any of it and already have a pretty significant surplus of models to paint. :)
I've seen several people skip Soldiers of Fortune expansion and go Smoke & Mirrors + Bahadurs or Human Fate. Guess they don't appeal as much to people visually as all of them are pretty strong Aristos, with Hannibal playing well with anyone in any scenario.
That's interesting. I know absolutely nothing about Aristeia and don't know any local players. I truly wonder if this was a quick sales grab. Overall I am really digging Dashats Zuyong/Ruishi link. That's bonkers Probably going to be switching over to Dashat as my regular NA2 just so I can use all of my own models and such. Although I feel like IKARIKAIRKAI gives them a run for their money in some cases. Zhencha though... Oh man
which is how the sell EVO bots. when you have specific fireteam it make it more important to grant Number 2.
