The Transmuted Fractaa doesn’t really change, it’s more a mechanical/rules thing for them. It’s like inverse Symbiont armour.

Technically all the Symbioarmours of the Tohaa / Sygmaa are represented (in Artistic License, in the Official Dossiers) as a sort of "Second Skin of Extra Muscles" that is glowing in Neon Hues (especially in the Tohaas rather than Sygmaas). . . Maybe is JUST a sort of "Hulk Smash" moment, when the "Extra Muscles" ripple, flex and enlarge (maybe even glowing with a far fiercer intensity) and this represent the "Enhanced States" of the Transmutation. . . It is really strethcing the boundary of believable, realistic "Cyberpunk Physics" toward "High Science Fiction Space-Magics" but not so more that the effective Dogface-Into-Dogwarrior where the Laws of Thermodinamics, Biophysics and Energy-Mass-Conservation are "Magically Handwaved". . . The best explanations that I have found of the Dogwarrior enhanced Muscular Mass (with lenghtened bones and fur growth) is that the "Cuckoo Retrovirus" (a Tohaa side-effect of their "Forced Evolution" on the Antipodes) somehow force an Explosive Mutation in the Dogwarrior, and the "Lycanthrope Extra Biomass" is NOT re-absorbed back into the Humanoid Body, but rather "Melt" quite messily in a stinking sludge that resembles very dense Bodyfat pouring from the skin. . .!! A Fractaa going "Berzerker Fury" with some "He-Man Extra-Flex" is not so much of an absurdity in comparison. . .

I will rather use a Chaksa Auxiliary as the base for "Combat Mode Engaged" kind of transformation (Tohaa Biotech Uniform with a very muscular structure). . . Or rather buy the EXACT same Miniature that the Fractaa that You want to go "Popeye Smash !!" and then, if You are enough good for sculpting, just put some Greenstuff Extra on Arms, Legs (and maybe even Torso) to represent the "Extra Muscles". . . Or if it is too costly / complex, then still same miniature, with just some repositioning and different colour could do. . . The most recent Fractaa Drop Trooper is the winged Boarding Shotgun Model; with TWO You can go: 1°) Basic: slightly crouched, legs bents as if skulking around or Just landed from an A.O.E. Jump; dull, muted colour palette. . . 2°) Berserker Mode: jumping (only ONE leg on the Base) with wings fully extended, the Shotgun held in a sinlge hand and in the other a sort of Biotech Knife / Blade; the Painting will be very important, with the "Bio Muscles" glowing a fiercer shade and also the Eyes of the Faceplate somehow burning of a very sharp Yellow / Blood Red. . .!!

Probably because it is irreversible under battlefield conditions, maybe some battlefield stabilisers also kick in, but that is speculation.

Mecanically, the Fraacta goes from Light Infantry to Medium Infantry... so, if the wings are producing anti-gravity effect of some sort to allow for the orbital insertion at survivable speeds, Psychoticstorm's idea of "the wings fold over to protect" is logical. She still thinks as a human warrior => takes out the drop backpack when touching base! XD
Also the transformation rule works really well with the tohaa vs Onyx match up. Onyx drones have excellent defense against viral attacks and dogged let's them take a BIG hit and keep going for expendable max damage but the elite troops all hate viral losing either auto med, NWI or in this case the second wound by transformation. It goes with the tohaa with a different survivability than actual tohaa design of the sigmaa. Tohaa hate fire, Sigmaa hate viral
