I'd say maybe Ariadna is at a disadvantage then. Still can't validate box sets of line troops without fireteam bonuses though. Something, whatever that thing is has to be done. At the moment the current bonuses do their job, right? Or is there something off about them that breaks the game as some say? I'd say our best measure is what places top 3 in tournaments over the next year concerning list builds. If people stop bringing line troop Support Weapons, then I think we know where OOP statements will drop..

Ariadna has powerful flanking pieces like Spetnaz, Paracommados, etc. as well as top tier access to camouflage (which basically gets to either do what it wants to or force unopposed shots.

There is nothing inherent to fireteam bonuses that breaks the game. The issue towards the end of N3 was actually that some specific defensive links were getting too strong. It's far too early to make a judgement of how it plays out in N4, but if anything, the addition of the Bolt Marksmanship link has actually pushed the game even further towards the reactive turn being too strong.

Poeple won't stop bringing SWC weapons on line troops because that's still one of the cheapest and most effective ways to get strong reactive firepower in a sectorial. It is okay for different models to have different amounts of utility in different situations.
