Sometimes it is a real challenge to like a post. This is not one of those times. :) Well, done Usashi. And excellent choice of avatar too.
A little off topic but I find it funny when people say a pose it boring but when they do something dynamic it’s complained about how it looks awkward, or it doesn’t stand up right lol. They used to do some really cool poses but they don't do as much anymore because of complaining I think. I loved the Wulver jumping over the wall, still my favorite is Bran do Castro, and the simplest one that I like is the sitting Djanbazan.
Seems like we've fixed CB's problem and now this model will be selling like a hot cake. Even though I have no use for him now I'm tempted to do this conversion and team him with my bunny ears Uhahu. Spoiler @Space Ranger You can do a cool dynamic pose and CB proved many times they can do it right. I guess it's just more time consuming for a sculptor. Also I get the impression sometimes adding a dynamic element is forced end we end up with some weird sniper positions or miniatures tripping over tactical debris.
Oof, smash it out of the park with the khawarij, and then Raol makes all of the missteps people here were crossing their fingers wouldn't happen. Shame, seems like an issue that could be alleviated with a second set of arms in the blister with his EM ccw beatsticks out. I think it would have at least made his silhouette unique and distinct to stand out a bit more. Seems like the one mini we didn't want to see with the 2 handed rifle pose. Conversion idea for those who want beatstick Raol, get nightwing from the Arkham miniatures game. I bet those arms will fit with little to no fuss.
Cool mini, great pose, love the look of the visor and the armor. The chest seems a little off to me, but it isn't a big deal and probably just the perspective. all that being said: Wow, what a missed opportunity in the wild parrot. I was hoping for some fun, little cute guy. but instead I get a knock-off auxbot. BUT: I suppose PanO isn't known for their cute animal friends, and instead leans more towards the high-tech look.
Yeah, because that half official DropBear model doesn't exist ^^ Still shame for a lack of actual parrot.
The Parrot is his jump support pack I THINK. If you look, it looks like it clips "face" outwards onto his back, then jumps off.
Eh, not a fan of it. Bowling ball head doesn't look better. As pointed higher, either the chest or the hips are off. And he lacks backpack, I think design improves in @Flipswitch version.
