    Hey guys! I'm just a little bit shy of free postage for my order of MOAR MINIATURES and was thinking on throwing a cheap Mercnary there if I were to hit a tournament using Soldiers of Fortune special rule. So who are your favorite mercenaries to use? In NCA first and foremost, but any input is interesting. Thanks in advance!

    Mainly because they all bring smoke and one of my armies is PanO :P

    Everything mentioned so far is good. Smoke, Chain Rifles and close combat capability are basically good places to start... They're the big things that PanO doesn't have. Other Merc choices, such as those that are BS-based, aren't likely to outperform our existing units.

    Special mention goes to anything that's Irregular and cheap... Joan loves giving them Regular Orders.

    Cube Jager and Bashis are also pretty neat for getting cheap AD into sectorials that don't usually have it.

    Though the loser edition Cube Jager isn't out yet.
