    Hello peeps,

I'm looking for some advice on where to expand my Vanilla Nomads. I currently have Icestorm/Beyond Icestorm, an Iggy, and an old Salzy.

My thoughts of what to get are leaning towards some specialists and remotes, since thats what I'm really lacking in, but I want to see what everyone thinks are the must haves when it comes to Nomads. If I had a preference I would be leaning in the Tunguska direction, but I think I'll stick to Vanilla for now, since I've already got a bit to use for that.

So, my shopping list at the moment is:
    • Tomcats box
    • Interventors box
    • Sputniks (both Tsyklon and Lunokhod boxes)
    • Zoe + Pi-well
    • Zonds box (Reaktion for sure, undecided between Transductor or Stempler for the second)
Is there something else I should be looking at to fill out my force? Other than a billion Hollow Men all Mario jumping with missile launchers for maximum lols.

You will probably also want a Support Box (Daktari, Clockmaker, and a pair of helperbots).

Otherwise, that's a pretty solid shopping list. For that undecided Zond, I recommend the Stempler. Combi+FO is a solid contributor all the time.

What I personally missing is smoke. So you want either the jaguar or the Morlock box.
Jaguar are only Impetuous and bring a regular order for 10 points or the Morlocks, who are Extremely Impetuous and only an irregular order but with MetaChemistry for 6 points.
If you don't proxy your models, you will also have the HMG Intruder.
    Zeros are cheep chamo specialists.
Moran Maasai Hunter are cheep midfield controller.

Actually the Jaguars have Frenzy, not Impetuous. This makes them a little more reliable for tossing smoke for your Intruder or anyone else you want to have smoke cover. They won't start running towards the enemy like crazy people until after they have shot someone. Though some people like troops that do that.

    Fury: Frenzy

The trooper's urge to kill is barely contained. Once he gets a first taste of blood, he will become a whirlwind of death.

    Requirements

    • Frenzy activates only after the trooper causes an enemy to lose one point from their Wounds or STR Attribute.
    Effects

I'd pick a box of morlocks and one of Jaguars, frankly.

Support Pack is a must, Zoe+Piwell are really nice, but expensive (they deliver, though).

The Interventors box is also a must, like the Zeros blister.

Finally, you *might* want to get the Tunguska starter, but it's not needed for what you have. The Heckler with Jammer (and fastpanda), however, is something you will want to have. And maybe even a converted second unit for the Red Fury, since it's 0.5SEC cheaper than the Prowler (who you want with BSG for certain stuff, but it's not a must).

The Lunokhod blister is not, however, urgent. The 8pts remotes (baggage and flash pulse), however, are.

If you can get a Sin-Eater with HMG (alone) grab him, much better than the TR remote when not facing shock.

I actually picked up the Heckler Jammer the other day. I don't really like the model (I think the jammer looks kind of dumb) but the shenanigan potential makes me giggle with excitement :)
