@Engorn I'm going to complete at least these 12 models this month... if I'm able to finish the 30 zombie samurai in the background. (They're getting pretty close to done anyway).
@Engorn More models for the pile. So the full pledge for this month will be: Gecko Pilot (already done) Warcor Bashi Bazouk SMG converted Dakini Multi-Sniper Senor Massacre [really hope he doesn't get a regularly available resculpt in the next two months] and the Szalamandra TAG. The latter two are gifts for a friend (one based on a bet we made for our biggest competitive tournament, the other a Birthday Present). Overall seems like a somewhat doable goal, the Nomads are my priority, but I worry I might not have too much time before I have to commit to some painting commissions. -------- Hago promesas de que voy a pintar. La lista incluye unos regalos para un amigo mio. Incluye un piloto Geco que ya termine, un Warcor, Bashi Bazouk, Dakini, Massacre, y Szalamandra.
Since I was productive as hell last month I'm going to enter this group with the same Miniature again, now just with a base. I was even successful in priming and shading it! Oh and if anybody is courius why I didn't paint last month: Spoiler: I made this
Just finished last months models. Plus an extra resin TO camo tureg my mate made me. Next up some Aleph models...
I got kind of bored with the Warcor, left her as a "side project" and doubled down to finish the Dakini. @Engorn IMGUR ALBUM HERE Overall, it looks better painted than I might have been expecting, and I used the Dakini as a bit of a canvas to practice freehand. Better to be bad at painting the Imperial Service Logo than to never try it at all. I'm not sure if the conversion screams "Sniper" to most people but at least it's a different barrel. The blue ammunition is supposed to represent "DA" mode of firing. I also deviated a bit from @the huanglong 's usual method of layering over a white highlight by highlighting with a mix of scrofulous brown and white. I want to have a name for the Dakini though. Something vaguely Indian (Vedic) and Chinese (Imperial Service). Maybe I should name it after the regions of Jammu and Kashmir which is currently contested between India and China, but that seems a bit convoluted. I don't suppose anyone has any ideas for that? Should remotes in service of Imperial Agents even have names?
I am quit late to the party and don't know, if i can get them done this month, but motivation is at it's high. :) So, this month i pledge a PanO Mechanic with his two little helper friends. @Engorn
Well, it's done. Neema's conversion finished. Pues ale, conversión de Neema finiquitada. Spoiler: Both Neemas' comparision
Edit: OK, I've changed my mind. Yesterday I wanted to redo both kaeltars' base (they are some of the first miniatures I painted and they don't fit with the rest of my tohaa), but I ended unpainting the whole miniature... So, at least one of the kaeltars is my pledge for this week. Bueno, he cambiado de idea.
Go big or go extinct. This month there are wannabebigtank Lizard and female Clockmaker @Engorn Also started to paint HMG TR bot:
@Engorn I love the "Thunk" sound this makes when I set it down. I hope my friend likes it as a birthday gift. I designated it the number "23" because that would be his age. FULL ALBUM HERE ______________ Pinte la miniatura Szalamandra. Es un regalo para un amigo mio por su complea~nos. Esta designada como el numero 23 porque el va a cumplir esa edad.
So I was painting Massacre and he was starting to look pretty good, getting to the finishing touches and the basing then ... slam: Fell face first to the hard floor, scratched in the head, knees, and both arms fell off (plus the hand). Anyways, I was able to repair the model and the scratches with brush on primer, but it looks rougher, scarred almost. It's going to bother me how the helmet and arms are not as smooth as they once were painted. @Engorn Here's Massacre. He's painted also for that friend as payment for a bet that we made before a tournament on who would place better. I lost, partly because people cheated against me and I had my doubts over the rules because I didn't bring a book or tablet and it was my first big Infinity Tournament. Last year I got him McMurrough for his birthday. We got into the hobby, go to tournaments together and have known each other since high school for the better part of seven years, so wargaming gifts are the usual thing between us. Ignore the Jaguar, he's just for show and backing Massacre up.
