This month I will re-paint the antipode controller Lady McDog I bought recently. It was well painted, but the colour scheme was snow-ish and didn't fit with my army. Every time I start a model with its face uncovered I pray to St. Brush for not paint it a dumb expression.
@Engorn Este més me pongo con las Troupes Métropolitaines :D This month i'll begin working with the Troupes Métropolitaines :D
Aprovecharé para pintar mi Cthulvatar, que desde hace meses no toco un pincel... I'll take the opportunity to paint my Cthulvatar, which for months I have not touched a brush ...
Are we ever going to get prizes again? Those were the days. Anyways, @Engorn This month I pledge an Asawira, Celestial Guard, and Druze Chain-Colt. Three beefy dudes for three of my armies. Still trying to figure out how I'll adapt my scheme for the Asawira. My Hassassin Ayyar have a white and dark turquoise scheme going on but that's mostly because I wanted the dark turquoise to be representative of holo shenanigans and impersonation. My Ghazi Muttawi'ah are all irregular schemes and I don't really have another HB unit yet. At least with the Druze I can officially state I play DBS (even though I bought him for Ikari Co). That would officially up my count from seven to eight, not Including the Nomads I painted for a friend and played once in a friendly game. Sooner or later I'll have officially painted a model from every army. All I really need is a Krakot Renegade to represent the Combined Army. Then with Armand for Tohaa, Sophotects, Knauf and others I'll have a representative of every major faction. I think I'll take a photo of that someday. Anyways, think I'm overdoing the Foliage on the Druze? Don't ask me why, but I really want to make him knee deep in pink/fuschia foliage, trees, and bracken. Really sell an "alien planet" look. And if you'll notice, the Celestial Guard has a little fire next to his feet, kind of represent the background on Uprising, but also to be a sly marker for Lt if I need one.
[EN] So... Metros are done! this was faster than expected (Yesterday was a very good day for painting) so maybe i will begin something else. Or... end some already on work miniatures... I did a bit of airbrush with these, but basically failed a lot. Need more practice with this hellish device.
@Engorn Here's my best attempt to adapt the Ikari Color scheme from what we see with the Wardriver, Yuan Yuans, and Jaegar to a Druze Shock Troop. Imgur Album. It's a bit of an unusual basing scheme, but still, what do you think? Does it look "Ikari Company" to you. Most commonly, he's going to be my Lt on the board. And which planet from the human sphere would such Fuchsia foliage be appropriate for? Paradiso seems to be depicted with mostly green, Bourak's more of a desert, and Dawn seems more "forest" and less dense "jungle." I supposed it doesn't actually matter. Also side note, I'm kind of new to Instagram but Bostria started following me (and liked this photo) so I got unreasonably excited.
I`ve finally done with both Morlocks and old-school Alguacil hacker. Will add some regalia later. Next in line there are two Zeroes and Red Fury Taskmaster with Koalas.
Been sneakily on a roll this week. While "primer was drying" I painted this Celestial Guard. Think the OSL of orange light over orange armor on the leg turned out weird?
She's been finished for almost three weeks (only took a couple of days to paint her), but as usual, I forgot to put a picture here... Bueno, lleva terminada desde hace unas tres semanas (solo tardé un par de días en pintarla), pero como de costumbre, se me olvidó subir la foto. I hope to paint a way more of those PanOs on July. They're a commission, but the client gave me only a few miniatures with the final bases and I'm waiting to have all of them to start painting at full power. Espero poder pintar bastantes más de estos panocos en julio. Son un encargo, pero el cliente solo unos pocos con las peanas finales y estoy esperando a que me de las demás para poder ponerme a pintar a tope.
I`ve finished Zeroes back in June but haven`t manged to take a picture. On Aug 1st - Taskmaster is still TBD.
