Wow! Is there somewhere we can get these items (the light from your last message and the ship from the previous one)?
The Ship is a Starlink (Battle for Atlas) Modell. You might get some Starterpacks with a huge discount right now (bought a starter pack with a "Zenith" Modell today for 10€ instead of 30€). The weapon pods are interchangeable between different ships and there are even packs with additional weapons (got one for 1€ instead of 7€).
Lights wise you can get them anywhere. Potentially have the plastic engraved to suit. Look on eBay for 3D LED nightlight. Ship as Kesharq's post above. My brother bought a ton of them for £2 each. The small light to go within was another £2ish
Added some of the drier looking palms to the Haqq table for a couple of fun matches at Wayland games. The table needs more colour, still though. Ordered some more walls to add to the scatter. Hopefully finish it off soonish.
Bit more work on the Haqq table. The deployment zones felt a little vulnerable so I think adding more tall walls was a good idea. Something to break the board edges up as well. I added some colour, Haqq green to make it more colourful and interesting. The last building my brother has is an objective room, with a roof. I added ladders to make use the roof area when its just being used as a regular building. I magnetised the ramps to be offset to the doors, and line up with the ladders. Enjoying messing around with paint pens. Easy to swop colours without getting all my paints out. Basic paint job, but I think it looks good without spending forever on them. Airbrush base coat, dark brown spray to dirty up getting a bit splashy at the end. Then sponging on dark brown to weather it all. Just need to clear coat and finish the scatter off.
Clear coat done. Brought it all together in the original layout. With the objective room and all the scatter there is a lot of options for my brother to play with.
Heading to Smackdown tomorrow. Tricky making a table that works for Panicroom, Cryogenics (Supremacy) and Supplies. Mission selections made even harder by wanting to use my new Pano road map.
New Micro Arts Studio haul. Will make my city maps work much better. Will try it out at the weekend at Wayland Games. Should plug into my Neo Tokyo board well. Such great kits. Got kicked around by Fed Ex for a month and a half, but everything in perfect condition once popped from the sprues.
Laid out a table for the weekends little tournament. Didn't realise but its another armoury one with Cryogenics. Hard to make it all work with a road map as well, but going with something like this. Had to use my new toys, and the Deepcut Neo Tokyo is the perfect map for them.
