Heya all, do you get 2" of movement when dodging while prone or becoming prone when declaring a dodge? Or is that movement halved? Cheers

Your total movement distance allowed is halved when prone. So if you have Dodge +1", you can dodge 1,5" when Prone.

While in this state, Troopers have both their MOV values and movement bonuses halved when performing any Skill with the Movement Label (Move, Dodge…), or when moving as the result of a failed Guts Roll.

Thats how I feel it should work, but I can't help but notice that it doesn't actually say "halve total movement distance" anywhere under prone.

It very specially references MOV value (such as 4-4) and movement bonuses which unhelpfully it doesn't define. I imagine its things like "Dodge+1"" or the movement bonus from terrain skills.

If its supposed to halve movement in general I don't know why they would instead give it such specific effects. It wouldn't reduce dodge movement unless dodge is a 'movement bonus' - could be a translation error from "bonus movement" into "movement bonus" but I think they supposedly ironed those out

I dunno if it's just crap wording or if they want models to always get a 2" movement.
