Aside from the asiwira dr (who has to compete with the AP spitfire profile) are you finding other doctors making into your lists lately? Do you use them to doctor things or mostly to be specialists for objective completion? I’ve had some limited success with the sekban dr in non-saladin lists and the tuareg is often my go-to if I really want one more for mission objectives but I’d love to hear from others especially as I choose some of the next few models to paint up (hakim smg, zhaeydan dr, jan dr?)
I've included a Ghulam doc or Raman in all of my recent games just out of principle, but so far they have never been used in an active capacity. Was thinking about replacing them with a Hakim to have a doctor that can also swoop in and do objectives down the board, but I'm not sure how feasible this is.
I usually take some Doc in my Haqq. Most of the times it's Ghulam and sometimes he even heals/kills someone ;) But in the last tournament I played 2 games with Rahman and I have to say that he really helped me won one of the games. His Flash Pulse is a great defensive weapon, while SMG helps him take out what was Stunned earlier. And having NVI is also nice. I'm still not sure if he'll fit in most of my armylists, but he definitely is interesting. In N3 I regularly used Tuareg Doc for clicking missions, but in N4 I haven't used him yet. About Hakims - they're nice, but I only used one once. Kind of not certain if I need a doc somewhere in the air ;) And for a bit more there's Nahab with NWI, KHD and all of his stuff - I usually prefer the latter ;) PozdRawiam / Greetings
Cool results with Rahman! I often just breeze past him b/c I just considered him to be a more expensive version of the ghulam dr but the flash pulse is better in N4. I agree on the Nahab vs Hakim. I think I will need to force myself to include one and see if it matches with expectations or if I can discover some success.
To add something to my post about Rahman - I had quite few really close games in which in the last turn the humble Ghulam had to run forward to click some antennas, grab a console or something. Sometimes it was Leila, sometimes Najjarun - I mean someone starting in Deployment Zone, not ideal for the role, but still filling some niche in the armylist. And when I think of using Rouhani I also look at this - he can be a really good last chance button pusher. He's mobile, he has nice BTS and has NWI - so he can ignore some shots while running to his target, counting not to be critted. And if the shots are dangerous, he can use his Flash Pulse and WIP 15 to defend himself. And what's also important - he has Courage, so he can ignore the Retreat! State and act normally even when the army is almost wiped out. And with this WIP15 he is a really good specialist. And he looks cool! Yeah, sorry, I'm a bit biased, but I really like that conversion ;) PozdRawiam / Greetings
