Look at him. He's made into "yea infiltrator but not really". He's expensive and his only specialist profile is a dead meat after active turn, mercilessly murdered by all those KHD camo skirmishers. He's not (that) bad, he's carefully slightly handicapped.
Truthfully, a SMG Locust would be a far more interesting proposition to me. For the kind of environs that NCA are supposed to be primarily operating in(cities), there's a woeful lack of SMGs in the list. Auxilias, Hexas, and Locusts at least should see some SMGs. Same thing goes for the Breaker Marksman Rifle and MULTI Marksman Rifle that they supplied the Japanese Secessionist forces with.
Thanks, that's why I don't take the AHD Locust, unless I'm doing a button pushing mission and even then I have to think about.
Those darned peple always being so cool... Really, it just(to me) cements that design seems to be lackluster for PanO. The jungle specialist sectorial's only Skirmishers are from a different faction. :P
Mine Dispenser Auxbots, Bolts with Auxbots, all kinds of Bots+Bolts links... Oh and an Engineer. There's a whole pile somewhere of PanO hopes and dreams that are kept on the burner for other factions. :P
Nice to see you back. This would make hexa even more expensive, not sure she will have a lot of use, aquila guard on another hand... But we are talking about Pano, forget about it :)
To be fair, the Hexa could use a good solid look at for a points drop or a profile revision period. Doesn't have to be huge--but comparing a Hexa to a Spektr is interesting to say the least. Take the basic profiles: Spektrs are 31pts vs Hexas at 24pts. Spektrs come with AP Mines, Multiterrain, and Infiltration plus higher PH, WIP, and BTS vs a Hexa...all of that for 7 pts. I can't speak for you, but it feels like the gap between the two units should be significantly higher given those differences. 10 pts at least.
