Actually at the last tournament I played in, the Northern Open in the UK, my second round match went absolutely abysmally (like, I was getting thrashed harder than ever in a tournament m, nothing was working for me, I was making really stupid mistakes etc) and my opponent proceeded to murder me so hard the game ended on a draw! Highly amusing, and yes it does work!
My bet is a set of mission to accompagny the discontinued Quapu halki or Tohaa (or both). I still have to play the mission for the extinction of MRRF. I love these narrative missions. I wish they could be more original than just ITS with a few addition.
Infinity rule set while being surprisingly robust is not exactly flexible THAT much in terms of "balance". It seems similar to flight control theory (you are fine as long you are in the close proximity to stable/known points of balance).
Will they update all armies with new profiles? All these wildcards and haris here and there will make sectorials that will not get them significantly weaker
Aquila Guard wildcard is gross. That is going to be a nightmare to deal with. Bolt updates look pretty good. Price drop and some nice new profiles Harris on Lasiqs is nice. I vehemently hate that they got fatality. They really did not need that upgrade, and more if your gonna put that on them why bother keeping the non fatality versions. (The new Kwarji FO has this same problem for such a tiny increase why would ever take the base version) I like that character spec ops are getting wildcard pretty much across the board. Hope they move to make that change on other sectorals sooner than later. Still no news on news spec ops stuff. :( maybe tomorrow Couldn't agree more here. My USAriadna is crying from all these wildcard handouts and mixed links. While they are still paying a massive SWC tax on their one haris.
Aquila is MULTI Rifle FTO so that's not so bad. Blackfriar Wildcard is good too. NCA deserved these buffs! Bolts are even better now too, very useful. Hassassins though! Lasiq Fatality L1 and Haris Profiles with Wildcard Leila/Yasbir? Avicenna in Govads? Asawira in Govads and Muyibs?!? Unfffff
USARF is one of the most efficient armies, doesn't need this sort of update Onyx, ISS and Steel Phalanx have already a full set of special option (BTW, you want more Wildcards in Steel Phalanx? They can already have a monstrous flexibility) CHA is to totally rework, we all know its time WILL come...
I‘d generally agree that USARF is efficient, but a bit of backdating could really help to get some lesser used units like minutemen or the unknown ranger to be more popular. Totally agree though that Onyx, ISS and SP don’t need any updates.
I can 100% see myself rolling with a Govad Core and Lasiq Haris, plus Fiday, Farzan and a second group of irregular orders.
