Foreign company looks awesome. I assume for the soldiers of fortune guys we just have to put them on 28mm bases. I wish they would have shown the bolts since there is clearly a haris profile now.
Extremely excited for Foreign company. It seems like all the characters have the "Special fireteam" tag. It'll be fun to see all-character fireteams potentially in Foreign.
im a little confused by bostrias explanation of hannibals skill, it says it lets his link share his deployment bonus but he doesnt have one overall foreign company seems a little all over the place, Laxmee is probably best one shes basically just mary problems with adjusted kit, hannibal seems a little too pricey for what he does, valk seems pretty ok the usual "built for CC but no skills to help her get there" she seems like a less optimised Neko from JSA, Though some of their value might improve based on links they can get. Its a funky faction and seems alot more interesting than dashat who I was kind of hoping would have more yu jing mixed in, its barely different than normal haqq. ive kinda got a feeling most foreign companeis will be securitate core, borac hmg +2 zeros Kinda suprised any merc company would put up with having the uberfalkkommando nearby
I didn't listen to the audio so I don't know if he said what it does, but I think it's safe to assume Strategic Deployment will add a new rule to his deployment as well as allowing his link to share the ability.
"He can let the whole fireteeam deploy at once, they can share with him his advantage in deployment" To me it sounds like the whole fire team can be your reserve model
Laxmee seems overpriced... She's just a wip14 hacker+ with one wound and no movement skills like Mary Problems. Sure she has a lot of equipment but it seems very situational. Well, she'll probably be a go-to for a lot of specialist missions. Strange that they didn't bloat her with nwi+immunity too
I'm not going to say "Dahshat is what IA should be" even if it'd make some people very happy, but I will say that I think we've found where and how Hulang will be able to shine. Where ABH and especially Sforza's special Fireteam goes is going to be very interesting, and if Valerya can go into Zuyong Core I can see that rivalling Haidao for utility, but man does IA need an update to Guijia to be at all convincing for TAG events now... Dozer with a bunch of Nazmat at their beck and call will be interesting. I mean, unless Dahshat LT options are as shite as Ikari. I can see that being a big drawback.
Ye but he has it on profile that doesnt have Strategos and iirc the strategos bonus for deployment models is only on lvl 2+3 only bonus he gets on lvl 1 is his LT order is regular, unless of course there is a bonus built into the stertegic deployment skill itself(boo more skills within skills).
I would absolutely love a special core of 4 bounty hunters plus miranda or sforza. I love gambling with the booty chart and going all in with a link team of it would be hilariously fun.
Not to burst your bubble, but since two of the characters revealed come with FT:Haris, either of them might "count as a Bolt" and be able to form the link, leaving the core profile unchanged. Just be aware that might still be the way it works out.
Wouldn't that be listed as Special in the chart though? Having Haris written in the chart usually means the team can do it natively.
