Ok, I think I have a grasp now in how the perimetral works. Ty! But this one isn't easy to get just reading the rulebook, that "you must keep coherency while moving" really means "as you can't check this while moving you can send your Koala to china and put it in stand by" XD. Good to know, though.
The Infinity rules can be bad about consistent word usage, and Order/Activation/Skill is a particularly grey area with respect to terminology. You pretty much have to know how to interpret the word usage based on context. Technically, you Spend an Order to Activate a Model that may then Declare either two Short Skills or one Entire Order Skill. The "Order" is your expendable resource, calculated during the Order Count phase of your player turn. The "Order" resource is spent to activate your models on a 1 for 1 basis unless some rule says otherwise, e.g. Fireteam, G: Synch, Coordinated Order, etc. Once activated, your model can then declare skills, again, with exceptions created by other rules like Fireteam. At least that is how I understand it. In practice, a lot of those terms are used interchangeably in a variety of places.
Very very good summary! Yep, that's how I read it. There are inconsistencies in the wording and some conflicting rules, and that doesn't help in a game with this complexity and number of interactions. But I don't want to be unfair, thought. I know I'm a bit fussy with wording and stuff but Infinity rules are solid enough to make it a very good game, in fact was the rules plus the cyberpunk setting was make me interested in this game. However, I think it's good to raise awareness of this kind of things to help with future iterations of the rules.
Technically declaring two Short Skills is not a legal declaration. It needs to be a Short Skill and a Short Movement Skill (in either order), two Short Movement Skills or an Entire Order Skill. [emoji14] I know what you mean (I often express it the same way) but it occasionally creates confusion.
I think also it’s technically true that you spend Orders on Troopers, not models, because you can spend Orders on Troopers in a Marker State.
