I may have to try that for some old-style (ie, bullpup) YJ shotguns, I really don't like the 300yo pump style!
I'm coming back after a few years away from Infinity, and I mostly just collect to paint and for RPGs. So I picked up a Seplechure Knight to represent a character and saw that the Spitfire is slung on the body and the left arm is empty. I got the idea to get a new arm with a second sword. I could use some ideas and advice, the new Hospitaliers medic and close combat model look like good candidates but I don't know how they scale with an older model, and I'm not sure I want to get a four pack for one arm currently. Also, since this is for an RPG character, it can be a little off if it looks good. I gave thought to use the dual wielding Domaru too, to represent some unofficial repairs.
Your best bet might be the old De Fersen or possibly one of the old Hospitaller Knights. Keep in mind that the KotHS is one of the older models, so his pieces are a little small compared to the new heavy infantry. Those will probably get you the best results.
Since I needed a second of them, I converted myself a Celestial Guard - Kuang Shi Control Device. Bits used: Celestial Guard (Combi) - from ISS Starter Left arm - from YJ Support Box Ammo cylinder - from ALEPH Spec Ops Spitfire Mk12 barrel - from Karakuri Bag - (I think it's also from ALEPH Spec Ops )
And so much cheaper, thanks! So does this make a new KotHS sculpt more likely to happen? Is that curse still a thing?
He's supposed to be adjusting his glasses :D The head is from a Ghazi, right arm from the Tuareg hacker, and the rest is Naffatun.
Naffatun body, Najjarun right arm, tuareg hacker left arm, statuesque minis head w/Zulu cobra ponytail.
Thanks. Her face looks like how I envision a character of mine. I'll look into grabbing the female Zulu miniature for the hair or perhaps another model with hair in that length.
I don't like how the druze box is all specialist options so I converted up a couple with rifles and HMG from the securitate box.
A bit late to the party, but I finished painting my Patsy conversion. When I finally finished building her, the official release was revealed, so I lost all motivation haha.
@ThananRollice I agree with Mittens. Your Pattsy is much better in my eyes. What was the parts you used again? I can see the Joan 2.0 body and what looks like to be a Statuesque head? Besides that I'm currently unsure where the arms came from.
