That's cool as hell. Light-years beyond the stock "surprise party" stance!

Ah! Now it makes sense! I'd thought you were doing all your Ariadna in snow camo, not just your Russians.

Some simple pouches so the models actually look like they remembered their spares.

Yeah, that's one of my pet peeves about most Infinity models (and a scary amount of 40k models): Where is their web-gear, holding extra stuff?

They might not be wearing backpacks, troops often drop those to be able to fight better. But their armor doesn't have any magazine pouches on it (usually), and they don't seem to have full pockets, either.

The US military idea is to deploy out of your backpack (all your extra gear), fight out of your web gear (anything you need RIGHT NOW, like ammo and grenades), and live out of your pockets (food, first aid kits, earplugs, iPods, etc).

The Brits took it to "camp out of your rucksack, fight out of your vest, survive out of your smock*".

That's a practical apporach, and makes a lot of sense.
Another British approach is 3. "orders" of gear, IIRC looking like that:
    - assault order, the stuff you'd need for a short patrol / operation, up to 12 hours if memory serves me. You go light, with essentials only in your webbing, perhaps adding a knapsack / haversack / tiny backpack (the writeups I've seen called for a 10-liter backpack to store the NBC protection suit).
    - fighting order, for longer patrol (IIRC up to 24h, so consider spending a night away). This tends to include a small patrol pack.
    - marching order, basically everything you'll need for two weeks in the field (assuming you'll be resupplied with water, food and ammunition, as carrying two-week supply of these on your back is simply not possible). This means a big backpack - but it will be dropped in an instant if SHTF, also, once you reach your designated area you are expected to set up a more or less temporary base ("haven") and keep your stuff there...

Sadly I have no knowledge how Polish Army does that, but I suspect they've learned a lot in the last 20 years.

    * smock being their long combat jacket with immensely spacious pockets.

Infinity games go by "Camp out of Cyber-Schrodinger's backpack, Fight out of Cyber-Schrodinger's vest, Live out of Cyber-Schrodinger's pockets."

Can anyone recommend a 3rd party that does anime/cyberpunk style helmets scaled for Infinity? I've looked at Puppetswar and Anvil and they seem to be mostly modern military or vaguely historical.

I've attached some examples of the kind of thing I'm looking for [IMG][IMG][IMG]

@Smiler Anime/Cyberpunk parts are hard to come by as I can't remember any bits site showcasing any. Still I'll be on the lookout for the style and provide a link when I do come across them. I think this is a style that is underused in the bits market. So hopefully some company out there will provide us with some heads.

Thanks G2G! It seems like heads for Space Marines and other GW minis are the most common, hopefully some companies will start providing parts for other games.

If there aren't any available I'll have to try sculpt some, though my sculpting skill are poor.

@Smiler My sculpting skills are poor as well. Therefore I usually try to find bits that will do the job or can be converted through cutting and putty to what I want. Lets both keep looking and see what we can find. I would suggest searching for "cyberpunk miniature bits" or something to that effect. You may find something.

@Smiler Have you tried Mad Robot Miniatures? https://madrobotminiatures.com/
They have a nice selection of heads & other parts that is worth a look. Plus I found this among their head category:
I have these heads myself and they fit on the Neoterran Bolts that I placed them on. With some cutting work such as removing the ball underneath the head.
