@Winsha He does look like Raynor. I'm partial to & prefer Tychus Finlay. Plus I have a couple of heads in mind to produce a mini similar in looks to him.
So currently I'm working on a StarCo Hardcase conversion where I take the Coldfront Wardriver, replace her pistol with Dart's bow, move the arm down so she's in a walk/stalking pose and fill the gaps with greenstuff. Question is, what to do with the right arm?!?
Oh you like Tychus! I have plans to make a 'Wing of liberty' trio. Jim, Tychus, Sarah. I think I'll post it here someday.
He is more memorable to me than Raynor even to this day. I'd like to see this finished work of yours when it s done. Perhaps you'll end up giving me some extra ideas on bringing Tychus to the tabletop. Spoiler: Tychus Findlay
Hey, guys. I've been thinking about getting some puppetbots, here's the idea: The base would be a Pano crabbot, cut out or bend up the top armor plate around here Spoiler This way there will be enough space to fit the gun. Even Taskmaster's Red fury seems to fit okay. Next - separate the claws, gun in one claw place it under cutout. On the other side - empty space or another claw with a stun baton (electric pulse, duh). That thing next to a knife from http://anvilindustry.co.uk looks a lot like some kind of stunner(and I already have some) so I was planning to use that Spoiler The rest would be pretty simple - Forward Observer - some external optics/scopes like on the picture above (or something like Spoiler ); Lo-tech - some extra armor plates/bags other stuff. I'm not sure how to add some Nomad features though... What do you guys think? Any advice where to get some armor plates/drone optics/stun batons?
@Lucian This is great idea. I'll look into seeing if Anvil has anything to spruce up my plans to customize my remotes.
Anvil has missile launchers with optics as part of the Taurus Gun Tractors (also weapons sold separately). You could cut the sphere at the base ring (so launcher can be used in other project, just simpler center column), and then again to simulate it's partially inside. Or reuse full ball and base ring. For armor, plasticard or even cardboard, just apply superglue to "plastify".
Yeah, alright. I rate Jimmy Raynor, Desperado. Well done. :) Who wants CB to announce the Mowang sculpt? Well, I've mocked up something quick and dirty as a conversion, so they'll inevitably announce the legit release a few days from now... You're welcome...
@Musterkrux That is a nice looking conversion for a Mowang. Shows that the Yan Hou models can be used for nice HI proxies.
@Dude This looks like CB verion of "Harry the hammerer" ;) @Musterkrux We thank you for your offering. I wouldn't mind a new red fury Mowang as a next month release. I hope this humble conversion of yours will be enough...
"The Curse" has required as much as full painting and even a battle report featuring the conversion before.
Got some painting and bat-reps to do then, don't I? Probably won't be this month, lads but the offering will be ready for next. :)
Hello friends. I add a model conversion. 112 Emergency Service (motorized) for my Tartary Army Corps. Thank you for watching! :D
@Winsha Excellent commitment to this project of yours. Now comes the question of what parts did you use to make this?
