Nice! (I like the Hasslefree P90s better, they're much closer to Infinity scale. Just a thought.) Hacker visors are really easy to sculpt (and this is the guy who has zero sculpting skills and is barely capable of using GS to fill gaps)
Sadly, that was the only one I had. Do they sell a non silenced version of p90? I could only find (https://www.hfminis.co.uk/shop?prod...category=modern-& post%2dapoc~modern-armoury)
I don't think so. Cut the silencer to a short cylinder and mark some holes with a scriber (or even a steel nail)?
Hasslefree's sadly been a bit flooded with problems the past year or so, including an actual flood recently, so they're only just able to start introducing newer items for sale. That means a non-silenced P90 may not show up for a while, if ever. They do sell these, though https://www.hfminis.co.uk/shop?prod...tegory=sci%2dfi-& weird-war~sci%2dfi-armoury for an alternative scifi looking smgs.
Yup that's all I used on her. I'm stoked you like it enough to make a copy. ^^ I find the new ariadnan AP rifle a bit large. Looks more like an AP marksman or AP sniper
SAITO TOGAN WIP So I'm not a fan of the official Saito Togan model, however the trooper profile is awesome. I think the sculptor of the official mini was aiming for dynamic ninja action posing, but it came off as a mess. The guy is doing a high kick, looking the wrong way (not at opponent), slashing a sword and chucking a grenade. I have a background in martial arts and know that this is an entirely impractical way to be fighting. If he was doing a high kick his hands should be up in guard position, sword at rest and his head should be facing his opponent. After this he might ground his stance and strike with his primary weapon the sword. I.e if you are fighting do one thing well at a time and string combos of attacks together. I think the Saito Togan sculpt was an attempt to freeze capture the combo in action but it just looks uncoordinated and unconvincing. What looks better is to freeze capture that one thing/action. Not to mention his ridiculously long hair that would get in the way of a fight and other ninja shenanigans (imagine sneaking a cross some rooftop, tripping over your hair and falling on your enemy - not very gracious lol!). These criticism have deterred me from purchasing poor old unco, crazy hair, togan and I have attempted to convert my own version. The conversion is made up of: * Body - Nakadai Shunya * Head - Shikami Combi * Sword Sheath - Shikami Contender * Webbing and pistol holster - Greens stuff sculpt from Keisotsu mold * Smoke Grenades - 40K Space Marine radar and Imperial Guard frag grenades Result: Hope you like. And hope to share the painted results soon!
I finally had a chance to do a little photoshoot with some mini's, including the vet kazak LT that I converted up just before coldfront and TAK dropped. But now that the Mk12 profile is out, well he may be counted as toting one of those. I had to make due with the awkward belt placement of the new mini.
Saito Togan (Conversion) Really enjoyed putting this guy together. So satisfying getting good results when converting metal mini, been so long since I tried due to working with plastics that are so much easier. Great to get him painted up finally too.
So true, that why I'm mostly doing conversions in Infinity :p and really good job on your mini painting & conversion not fan of the grenade tho look like a little too big for an Infinity mini
Hi guys! This is me first infinity conversion and me return to the green stuff after 10 or 12 years in a box. It's a clockmaker for me bakunin sectorial army. :)
Each to their own really lol! However, I hear ya on this issue of infinity size grenades and agonized for a long time trying to find a suitable grenade to use. There aren't too many infinity models I could find with smoke grenades on them which makes it hard. I found the Lt Ed Fat Yuan Yuan but he is too pricey and nice to cut up (or purchase just to get mold from his grenade belt). I also couldn't find any grenades from other mini lines or 3D sculpts out there that seemed quite right. I then looked at 40K grenades which were way to big as you'd guess. In the end I settled for converting the grenade from bits I had lying around that would suffice and tried to make it look a bit like what the official Saito Togan model has got in his hand. Maybe they ended up a bit on the large size, but I justified this based on your typical real smoke grenade that we have used in the 20th century which are quite large: Anyways, a bit of thought went into the modelling process.
I had a (new) Muyib LGL I didn't need (because I have the old one, thank you). I needed a Brawler HRL. Spoiler: all-around look
So... uh... Perseus update, now with a better scale pistol hand and bits I got from sciborminiatures: Spoiler Just gotta clean green stuff a bit
It was a long time since my last entry. I would like to play Tunguska this year and we already know that some units will be launched in the far future. So I decided to make my own toys. BEWARE OF THE PUPPEBOTS!!
