I would like to see that the Nisse Hacker change to KHD and Nisse get Haris or Core.
And a new HI for Svarlaheim would be nice but for that part we have Hospitalers.

TOFOOS? If Order Sergeants are included, then some of my favorite infiltrators will be in Svalarheima.

    Bloodboiler Huntsmen
    Irregular, Medium Infantry

”Blood that never boils, huh? How much would you like to wager?”

Legend has it that the blood of Trolls— the tall, lanky beasts that wander the icy tundras of Svalarheima— never freezes. The big-game sportsmen that comprise the Bloodboiler Hunting Club have migrated to the frozen hells of Svarlarheima to challenge that legend. And they’ve brought the equipment to do it.

As the best hunters in the Sphere, the Huntsmen pride themselves not only on their kill trophy galleries, but also on their exotic weaponry collections which include weapons such as Plasma Rifles, Heavy Flamethrowers, and hunting rifles inspired by the design of Ariadnan Ojotniks, and Draggers: Advanced anti-gravity devices that enable a single man to drag three fully-grown trolls miles without breaking a sweat. Their prowess along with their unique equipment quickly caught the eye of PanOceanian officers, who wasted no time recruiting their ranks to the wintery front. Rumor has it that they still fight in the freezing hills of the frozen planet. And the record holds: all blood boils.

    Loadouts:
    Plasma Rifle
    Pistol, Knife

    Ojotnik, Light Shotgun (Baggage, Multiterrain)
    Pistol, Knife

Heavy Flamethrower + Light Shotgun (Baggage, Multiterrain)
    Pistol, Knife

Viral Tactical Bow + Shock CCW (Stealth, Climbing Plus)
    Pistol, Knife
Just having some fun making a profile, don’t take it seriously obviously. Also piggybacked off of someone’s earlier post who mentioned Trollhunters.

I'd be game for the second S8 TAG.
Someone made little Jotum cry and he called his big brother Æesir to beat up the bullies for him.

Not that I think it would work well in the game or think S8 is a good idea for a high tech faction - I'm just in it for the memes.

Valkyries could be AD4 Doctor with CC abilities. That would be pretty cool. WIP12 though so they can send troops to Valhalla.

    Hurrrrrrrr. I is smart.

TOFOOS are priced in such a way that having another unit in that niche is probably a good thing. See: Crocs vs Zulu Cobras. ZCs are pretty dominant in Varuna though, almost to the point of making Crocs obsolete. It’s hard to give up the load outs of the ZCs just to pay more points for full Infiltration and upgrade to TO. So I’d rather not see a new unit trample on TOFOOS toes.

X Visor is a pretty strong rule as well though, especially with TO.

I cannot say I agree. Crocs still have a significant role as specialists while zulus shine as toolbox killers. I tend to prefer the croc FO for his repeater to aid other hackers while doing his own thing.

If they were to make sval line troops, I think it would be cool to get guys with mountain terrain, climb+ and basically be fusiliers minus armor. Maybe a marksmanship lvl2 profile with markmanrifle or multimarksman? :D hu? Maybe maybe please CB please give us the damn weapon already dont let this be another fueurbach oh God it's another fueurbach isnt it?

I keep forgetting that all Crocs have mines, not just the Minelayer profile. That’s probably why I haven’t played anything but the MSR and Minelayer profiles.

Gotta get that FO, AHD and BSG on the table now I guess...

I played that Nisse Haris a fair amount. Expensive little unit but wow it did lots of work.

The KHD Nisse was a nice gesture I feel like, certainly miles better than the regular Hacker but all in all it felt a bit astigmatic. Most of the points spent on Nisse are spent on gun fighting abilities - BS, Mimetism, MSV2, ARM. Not much spent on infowar abilities like BTS or WIP. All in all it felt like a nice idea that falls a bit flat in execution. At times I appreciated the ability to have a specialist that can gunfight, but an FO can do that without bringing a gun to the infowar fight.

Now if Sval gets another offensive infowar specialist that can work in tandem with the Nisse, then my opinion does a 180. What’s better than one awesome KHD? That awesome KHD with a backup one that can also accomplish other tasks and can force an opposing hacker to split burst. In that case I will absolutely take the Nisse KHD without reservations.

QUICK EDIT: Nisse KHD as a solo piece leveraging Cybermask to move upfield in marker state and apply Combi LSG to face, then pushing buttons is a great party piece. I really dig that tech. Don’t take this post as hatemail on the KHD Nisse.
