Hi! I had to face a weird situation I wasn't sure how to solve this weekend during a tournament. I was playing Combined Army with an Avatar and I faced Military Orders on Comms Center. The thing is, one of the ways to get points in the mission is to kill more specialists than your enemy. In my case, I sepsitorized both his Spec Ops (who was an Engineer) and an Hospitaller Doctor. In the rules for the Sepsitorized state says this: The trooper ceases to be a part of the army that fielded him. The player who fielded the trooper considers him to be in the Dead state for all purposes, including Order generation and survivor count for Retreat! In our case, how we resolved it was that I wouldn't get the points for killing enemy specialists as they were now part of my army, however, later on he killed his own sepsitorized specialists and did get the points for killing more specialists. My questions are these: - Does sepsitorize an enemy specialist count as killing him regarding mission objectives like killing enemy specialists? - Does the sepsitorized troop count for seeing if you control a quadrant or ZO? In the Sepsitorzed state it says that neither player can add their victory points at the end of the game, but it doesn't specify if that is for victory points alive or for mission objectives. I mean, can I add their value for controlling a ZO but I can't count their points for what I have alive at the end of the game? Or I can't add their value to neither option? Thanks!
Hello! You should have gotten points as if you killed them because they were in null state. Same reason they can't contribute to dominate zones, they are in Null state. From mission: KILLING• A trooper is considered Killed when he enters Dead state, or is in a Null state at the end of the game. From Possessed Labels Null
Poor thing, so you got no points for your kills and your oponent got twice. You got rules lawyered hard XD
Perfect, so they do not count towards dominating zones but they do count towards killing enemy Lt or specialists :D Thanks a lot!
There's an interesting one in Safe Area about whether they count as controlling the Objective. A: They don't, for either player. Whereas in Suppremacy you can use your Opponent's Sepsitorised Specialists to push buttons.
