Coming back to Infinity and want to start pure Shasvastii

They had said that B&K were only going to be available for the last ITS season and would be take out after. They were not very clear on that and it's not really fair to people that don't do ITS tournaments.

otherwise you're looking at either a noctifer or the E-drone if you want supportware. Here's hoping for some hacking game when they get updated.

Agreed. I think B&K was a big loss but the E-Drone was a big gain too. I'm hoping they tweek the points a bit because Shas were always out numbered and pretty weak. Shock also ruined their ability to stick around.

 

E-drone is their cheapest supportware.

 

That wasn't particularly clear, and they left her in Onyx just because. So a lot of people were confused.

No it's just that it's been a long time since I played Shasvastii. Back in my day we didn't have those fancy remotes! LOL

 

I am thinking that Adeptacon we will see a new book with Rama, Shavastii and Tohaa and a Box army for Haq. Then we will see a 2 player starter at GenCon with Shas vs Tohaa.

 

Last year it was only one, Tunguska, so I’m thinking it will be the same. I’m guessing Ramah will be it too. They’ve said before that they are reluctant to do a box of all aliens. It could be Tohaa OR Shasvastii vs. humans of some flavor. But I suppose it’s possible since all of the human factions have already been represented in a two player box. Pan/Nomad, YuJing/Haqq, Ariadna/Aleph. Unless they do against NA, which I doubt! How about a totally new Faction?!

 

Well the book will be Haq Shas and Tohaa but Ramah will be the only ones with rules. Not sure if they will be a box army or just a starter. I don't think they had any big boxes for Adeptacon for 2016 or 17.

 

I think there will be rule tweeks for Shasvastii. We’ve already seen, that the description used for Decoy uses Shasvastii Cadmus as an example.

 

I’m expecting most of the Shasvastii-specific rules to get updates. The core Shasvastii rule and Protheon are already rewritten, but Seed-Embryo and Morpho-Scan need a rewrite. I’m also excited to see Speculo Agents; an impersonator that is cheaper and not centered on CC is a really interesting niche I would love to see explored.

I expect Shas might get some of the newfangled "light HI" we've been seeing around the place, too.

 

That would be cool, because HI is a unit slot that they are distinctly lacking.

 

I'm expecting/hoping for more Protheon on basic troops. Like give them level 1 on all troops and higher for elites. You can have more than one wound but it's going to take some work to get it.
