If you want to use your hackers to score points, you need to go and move them and touch the buttons. Granted, a mentor hacker in a solid repeater net is not a bad idea. Probably could be a good unit in missions like Countermeasures.
True but to me that's what the Shrouded, Zerat and other hackers are for. I'd move the Mentor if needed though.
