If one of my players presented me with such an awesome piece. I would find away to use it, no matter how many rules I had to bend or break to bring it to the table. In fact there is real danger it might become a reoccurring character! (Those dragon-liches just wont stay dead!)

I went a little overkill for my big dragon. I bought the big Confrontation Titan Dragon on a 33% off sale (got the price down to $200 for a ~24" tall dragon)

Now I'll end up using my 1/4 scale Red Sonja as a boss

Just realised that the other mini provider of the group may already have a dragon from a black plague/green horde KS.
I need to check with him.

Still, I feel the urge to paint a dragon myself :face_with_rolling_eyes:

The cheapest route for this is Reaper Bones. By far. And while the material is polemic to say the least, the sculpts are quite fine.

If we're good with dragon for the campaign, I'll fall back to see what I can find locally and be the opportunist kind of guy.
What I get from this topic is, there's plenty of great stuff around.

Thanks again for all your feedback. I'll try to give some update once I get my dragon.

It's all up to the DM.

But, let say that, if it already has a dragon, then after we met it, I offer the option to get a second one later ...

The downside is, the second one has to be even more epic than the first one so I should provide an even more epic paint job :cold_sweat:

    and fireworks, and sunglasses.

It then won't be more epic. It would become EPICER* !!!

I could make words if I want, it's magic.

Actually, the proper D&D and/or Pathfinder minis may be cheaper than Bones. The WizKids Pathfinder Battles Deep Cuts Gargantuan Red Dragon is $30, a D&D Nolzur's Young dragon (of whatever color) is $15.

You are going to want to re-prime those, though. For whatever reason, the primer they use doesn't really like acrylic paint sticking to it, it will rub right off with the normal handling you do while painting it!

    Found a new candidate available

This one is part of the Descent game by FFG
To be honest, I got the feeling that I may exit FLGS with both in my bag (I don't know why).

Sunglasses are OK but a guitar is so much cooler than a surf

Some may say that I am weak.
    IMG_20190830_192001_resultat.jpg

But can a man with two dragons decently be called "weak"?

Yes. Yes you can be called weak. But I'm guilty too. I got me another giant statue recently.
