True, but still, it is the closest use for it I can find. Been there, done that - my QK 1.gen Azra'il (S2) weren't really usable when N3 (and subsequent) dropped, given the troop has grown from S2 into S5. I dealt with it, eventually, repurposing them as mercenary lightweight HI - Riot Grrls for StarCo in N4 (well, and since yesterday back again, i guess) and then Dahshat's Zuyong Invincibles. Totally on the side, I have a feeling that CB kinda dropped the ball with Sapper rule: switching Silhouette value is kinda awkward. While one could add a ring to bring a 25mm-based model to 40mm base temporarily, I see equipping it with a 40mm base permanently as problematic. Not to mention we now have S4 models (Vystrel) on 55mm bases who, by the rule, should size down to S3 once they dig in... While a crafty modeller could handle that (put the model on a 40mm base permanently, magnetize it to snap on a 55mm one for when it is not entrenched, or maybe use a ring around the base), it still feels wrong. Especially since the model loses its foxhole status when it goes Prone (eg. as a result of becoming Unconscious)...
My Cateran absolutely managed to fit on 25mm with the stairs. Granted, I don't remember what size of a base he came with.
Point is moot as there is no HMG profile at all in the Zouaves sheet. Just a spitfire one, strangely enough. On another note, I always found it a pity you couldn't make Zouaves a core team. They would make a fun core to build the army around imo. They are also the closest thing to regullar soldiers MRRF has, lore and looks wise. (rest being paramilitary or specialized to some degree)
I believe it’s time to say THANK YOU. My son’s army, Acontecimento, will be deployed again to the battlefield.
Serves me right for typing fast ;) (I meant the Spitfire, but again - seves me right...). Also, given their profiles, I'd be tempted to consider a Moblot core as a base for a list... and you can Wildcard up to 3 Zouaves into it, while still counting as Pure team.
I’ve got to admit that I’m a little jealous again that PanO is back up in sectorals. 5 regular and 2 OoC. My Yu Jing went from 2 to 1, back to two, eventually 3. But I shouldn’t complain because then it also made me take up other sectorals to play!
